did u know: Lorenzo has been in gp's for only one more year than Dani and has one more win than him in total. Dani has 47, Lorenzo has 48.

Wikipedia didnt tell me that either, I just knew it, im pretty ...... clever like that :)
Estupido!

Lorenzo came in 2008. Dani's rookie year was 2006.

I don't have to look .... up.

Pedrosa has definitely been a disappointment, but fuel tanks will only hold 20L next season. Imo, Honda will have to make their bike work more similarly to the Yamaha. Dani's style may be an asset, rather than a liability.

Anyone saying they don't want Dani in GP is stupid. Somebody has to keep JL and MM honest. It ain't gonna be Rossi or Stuckslow

that i agree with, not a Dani fanboy, but i do think he still has some merit, coupled with (here is is again), bad luck.

First of all, there are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY too many Spaniards so pick one, anyone and get rid of three more.  Dani does deserve to be there, I am not saying dump the dude and forget about it.  I am saying in regards to the original question, he just won't ever be a champion no matter what bike he is on.  So should he stay at honda? Sure, because he knows what's up there and has an ability to help dev the bike, and then in another two years he can go where ever, it just won't be on a honda.  Think of all Honda has done for Dani and still no championship.  I mean Honda cheated the system, had the rules changed for his diminutive size and nada.  They would have been better off sticking with Hayden and dev'ing the bike for him...bet he would have been damn good that next few years on a Honda that was made especially for him.  Those days Hayden ran damn strong and was easily coming into his own.  Then Repsol came in a ...... the whole thing up along with Honda for the little guy and Puig.  Those two can go pound sand.................wait for it..curve.

You thinking he will be replaced by Redding?  Nah bro, they'll pass him over and give it to either Mavdick Vinanalez, Luis Sadom, or Alex Reams.

Unfortunately you are probably right.

i was pointing out his pedigree, that not only has he got a butt load of wins in motogp, but he also has a lot in 250 & 125, some what similar to Lorenzo. Lorenzo has just been able to convert similar stats to WC, where the migdget hasnt.

Btw, Dani has won a fuckload more minimoto races than nicky :)

Oh, and as a side note while you are reading this jums, look up "Caroline Buchanan bmx". Tell me this chick isnt a female Nicky Hayden :) Dunno if its me or not, but .... me i reckon they look alike!

Why? It's not the Olympics.

No but it is a "world" championship.  You would think that in a "world" championship there would me more racers who represent their respective countries from around the "world".  Pretty simple concept.  Now if it is a "Spanish" championship no one can say much about not having representation from around the "world".  In a "Spanish" championship you would hope that there is a broad representation of racers from across the "Spanish" country being "Spain".  But when you expand your championship to the ..."World", you are making an indication that the series being touted is a representation of talent from around the "World" rather than just "Spain".

In the CEV, Spanish Championship, there various nationalities on the riders list.  In BSB there are numerous nationalities as well.  AMA too.

Moto GP is not the UN.  It is a championship for the best riders in the world.  If the fastest 3 right now are from Spain, so be it.  They should all be racing in Moto GP.  People in Spain watched Moto GP with the same enthusiasm before Criville.  When it was majority of Americans, Australians, Brits and Italians.

RockGod, you up for personally funding a rider from Ethiopia or some other non represented country?  Moto GP isn't about equal opportunity, there aren't any free rides for any of the Spanish riders, they have all gotten there on their own merit.  Most of it sporting merit, but some economical.

yeh...meaning the best in the world, which at the moment are the spaniards.  I'm not gonna go into the whole spanish get better treatment even tho i think some examples show just that, but you cant have people getting better seats just because they need to make the sport more of a "world" championship.

they (the spaniards) are the best in the world. just look how great they are doing in other championships: wsbk, wss, etc......oh, wait
