Hey everytime I had to do the Voodoo it works. Look at what happend to Lorenzo and Pedrosa. It's just tought to put it on Rossi since I like him and he is Italian so it doesn't work that well on fellow Italians. I just have to put it out of my mind but we shall see we shall see!

I think the chance of Rossi not winning another race in his career is pretty low so i couldn't care less when he breaks the recors, it will be a special event whatever and i definitely expect a fitting celebration/aknowledgement.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Austin @ Aug 29 2008, 02:58 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Didn't Nieto ride Rossi's bike back after Rossi passed him? Maybe Rossi could pull some strings and get an old Ago bike behind some barrier. After the race Ago and his bike magically appear, Ago rides the M1, Rossi rides Ago's and everyone is smiles.

Of course this is all dependent on Rossi winning. And there still being a bike that Agostini rode still in working order. But if there were ever a rider creative and bold enough to pull off such a feat, it's Valentino Rossi.

That will be a great idea but requires a lot of preparations..but who knows, Vale can do that..

I don't care about the celebration, I'm hoping for two things this weekend

1, A good race and not a result like last year,
2, That he wraps up the season A.S.A.P. (another Stoner D.N.F. would be great)

Can't we all just get along and make jokes about RdP crashing?

Great one Austin. I love RdP, he gives me a a chuckle every race, when he goes flying into the gravel that is. We should have a post for every race. Guess what lap Randy bins it. Matter of fact, I think I'm going to start that.

Hey come on, he doesn't always crash.

That's precisely why at 18:1, you could always select "won't crash" as your guess.

Agostini is already here at Misano--but the apparent reason is that he attended a ceremony with awards presented to former Italian MotoGP world champions.

Rossi readily acknowledged that Stoner is the tough nut to crack before even thinking of any celebration. However, he went on saying that he wants to beat him on the track, insisting he will not try to administer his points advantage.

These are the current stats--note that Capirossi will break Barros' record of GP starts.

Most 500/MotoGP wins:

1. Giacomo Agostini 68
2. Valentino Rossi 67
3. Mick Doohan 54
4. Mike Hailwood 37
5. Eddie Lawson 31
6. Kevin Schwantz 25
7. Wayne Rainey 24
8. Geoff Duke 22
Kenny Roberts 22
John Surtees 22

Most GP starts:

1. Alex Barros-Loris Capirossi 276
2. Carlos Checa 220
3. Max Biaggi 214
4. Valentino Rossi 204
5. Roberto Locatelli 203

There he goes again RDP getting in the way of a good rider. Oh .... is that Valentino?

I think there was too much hype and speculation about it, its not Valetinos style to do something that everyone was/is expecting,

But who knows mabey there might be something at Indy when he beats Agos record
