I was wrong

...................

Would really love to see Stoner lesson-up young Marquez. But then I had high hopes that Nicky would master the Ducati with his superior flat track skills and that didn't exactly pan out.

Flat track experience doesn't help much in riding a Ducati, it is the ability to put big horsepower to practical use that matters. Stoner is the pastmaster of that art. That's why Ducati is his predestined machine.

@ #22: Sorry man, I checked back and now I see that I did answer a post of yours thinking it was Jum's. Doesn't change much of the substance, to be honest, but the form suffered. Accept my apologies. :)

Hahaha ooops.

I made a mistake, you're an ....... anyways, accept my "apologies". Is that how thst works? You make a blunder, call people who agree sockpuppets, then say, your point still stands, sorry fella, everything is peachy? Haha J4rn0, you know, I like you, always have, but you're as sane as the most insane bopper.

Ok, now I'm sure I am replying to you Jums. So, the apologies were NOT for you and for sure you did populate the forum with a lot of bots -- Motochick anybody?! -- so: don't gloat, stay reasonably sober if you can, and be happy. :p

Hahaha J4rn0, was your helmet on when u offered that apology?

You're not conscious about who you're replying to, and I'm the drunk one? Ha!

Theres only one real ....... in this thread. He's currently trying to ruin it like he always does. Well maybe two ......... Celebrating dead marines is about as low as you can go
Great post duece duece. I dont believe Jesus would be the GOAT. Allah has no fear of dying and would run circles around Jesus.

Having multiple avatars and constantly speaking of yourself in the 3rd person. Curious. Is this some kind of American thing?

Morning compa
Good morning bro. Gonna head out to the NHRA drags today. Season finales. Time to enjoy other forms of motorsport. The motorcycle dragsters will be there.

With no new news in GP, it's probably time for me to take a hiatus a bit. I suppose we can keep updating the soccer thread. Oh, and the award shows. Now excuse me, gotta go find Motochick. I heard she's an umbrella girl for NHRA now. Turns out she was in to drag.

No worries, I know it was just a case of your ambition outweighing your talent.

Actually, as it turns out you may be just a case of my goodwill outweighing my better judgement. But never mind.

I think one can be excused for mixing up a few posters who basically write the same things in the same way (although you are by far the most prolific, verbose and vocal of that small group -- give credit where credit is due).

One is even justified thinking they are aliases, in view of the enthusiasm and diligence with which they unfailingly "Like" each other's posts.

Thinking of it, the total number of "Likers" should probably appear together with the "Likes" count. Could be interesting. Some could read "1,000 likes by 2 people". ;)

Ahahahha. :D

Hindsight is 100%. Back then many thought Casey's mastery of the Ducati was connected to his days riding dirt.

Relax man. It was said in jest :) I DO appreciate the apology. While we might not share the same opinions, we DO share a similar love of the sport and at the end of the day, isn't that all that matters?

They (we) said many things trying to understand why Stoner was so successful on a oh so powerful but supposedly unrideable bike.
But Filippo Preziosi knew it in 2007: "Casey rides the Ducati the way it is meant to be ridden".
That is to say, the only way it could be ridden: using its power to ride it.
