I was wrong

Good news.
I hope now Honda will ask for the resignation of Suppo and a few others, but I'm not holding my breath.
Still sore with him for calling Rossi on his epic meltdown?

Casey on an Italian bike, must make VR quiver a bit. I bet he hopes Casey won't take the field at Mugello. Where it could likely go: Marquez Stoner Iannone Lorenzo and if he's lucky Rossi.

Somehow I doubt that even if he would go back to full-racing he could be competitive .

To me Stoner is the biggest talent since I follow Motogp (about 25 years), but being out of the circus for 3 years it will certainly have its impact.
Somehow I hope he won't be back to racing as I fear to feel disappointed.

Oh the greatest gp feud ever is about to continue.
Boppers vs boners.
Or boppers vs everyone else.

Here I thought ok .... day , having the ..... and wasting my day on the toilet watching the test.
And here I am way too high with a sore ....... and tears of joy in my eyes.

What a beautiful day

Forget the Vale Cultis. They burn out easily and will for now be licking their wounds and burning candles at their altars. Vale is heading into Biaggi territory now. It is possible they will come back zombie style to rant hate at Stoner, but only if he truly signs up for the whole package. In the meantime they're spending their pocket change on Monkey Boy dart boards. But if Stoner were to come and beat Rossi whilst riding a Ducati, they would have a melt down worth watching.

Because Honda pissed him off by ignoring his feedback.
Wasn't that because Honda didn't let him race for Dani Pedrosa when he got injured? But maybe both. At any rate, I also think it'd be awesome to have him back but as a racer, not a test rider. He'd give Marquez and all others a run for their money. Everything points out that he's having a change of heart of never racing again.

Could you imagine all the parts that would be in hrc's dumpster if both Marc and Stoner were on the same team? It would be almost as large as the pile Crutchlow leaves every weekend.

Turns out Stoner is coming back as a Ducati test rider. With a possibility as a wildcard. Because Honda pissed him off by ignoring his feedback.

Further bares out what I'd said so many times early in the season when we were discussing why the Honda (despite all the zillions in R&D they poured into the 2015 bike) was not the Holy Grail, Giant Killer that some here suggested. Historically Honda has always been intoxicated by the cleverness of their engineering people and semi-deaf when it came to the suggestions of the riders. It's why Rossi left Honda. It's why the 2007 bike was unrideable for Nicky.

I think it will be epic if Casey returns to the mix *rubbing palms together in delight :)

Problem with hiring Casey as a test rider is that he has such an unconventional way of riding a bike that whatever data they gather from a test is useless to the regular riders. It was a common complaint by teammates throughout his career that they couldn't quite work out what he was doing and those that could couldn't replicate it.

Krops (serious question)

When you say that HRC pissed him off by ignoring the feedback, does that correlate further with the comments reported to have been made by Marquez where he blamed Stoner for the direction that the bike had taken in terms of rideability?

I cannot recall where but seem to recall reading that Marquez laid the blame for the Honda and it's woes firmly at the feet of Stoner despite it being reported in the same article, that HRC had actually followed Marquez' requests.

Eiether way, a pissed off Stoner makes good news

Marquez did blame Stoner for where the bike was at earlier this season.

Don't feel like searching for the article, but it's accurate.

This was when MM was blaming everything under the sun for the woes of the RCV.

Him who??

ThiNG in Dubs, many have praised CS for the feedback he provides as being incredibly detailED and technical (stories have existed of him 'feeling' an issue on the Ducati, going to the pits, they said no problem go out and keep circulating only for the motor to go pop within half a lap)

Gabbarini and Suppo have both praised his technical and development work (as it has been said have others) so the 'claims' about his developing poorly are seemingly incorrect

Personally, I suspect and recall reading that HRC went the Marquez way which did not work so pulled it back a bit, but that is supposition only as have not seen anything official

Edit. The issue with a lot of team mates of CS has been that they simply cannot ride as he does as he uses little electronics when compared to most others, thus when developing I suspect that his feedback is based on less electronics which when they are then used may upset the applecart a little
