i agree colin is good and i love the bloke but he is not yamahas future

This is my point right here. And also that it doesn't show too well for the Yamaha factory that the bike is only at the front (yes i know there are a few exceptions) if Rossi is riding it. And i don't think that its all because the Yam is actually crap and Rossi is God. I think its because they have 1 great rider, and one more average guy.

Average is not good enough in motogp now,its too competative.

Colin seems happy enough! My humble opinion is that Colin is an ideal back up for Valentino, not so much with race results but more with the experienced head he must bring to the whole package.

Agree. In my opinion, it's really not because Colin is not as good as he used to be. Sure, the field's packed with younger more talented riders, but yamaha's also been "forgetful" about the fact that they have two riders in the team. And will Honda or Ducati give him a ride in case he leaves Yemaha? I think not. So Colin's stuck with them. Until they decide to dump him. When that happens, I'd like to think it's not entirely his fault.

Yeah well i guess he does play his role quite well. Its just a shame really, i like the guy and would like to see him be faster. And now i feel like i'd rather see the bike put to a faster guy who could challenge for wins.
