Hamiltons bent his car trying to go quicker then Heikki...................................

This track has too many tarmac exits, even Massa could win here despite his traditional couple of spins.

can't imagine how it feels like when you know you are going to hit the wall, and all you can do is wait for it to happen

Ferrari can expect a 1-2 finish, and damn well better get it. Lewis should be third, but its not a given. Williams seem to be at BMW level, so thats gonna be interesting. Button quicker than Alonso!!! Shocker

what's with that thing next to the track (where usually gravel is), isn't that supposed to slow down the car?

Ferrari seems to be the strongest so far, which isn't a surprise I guess. If no mistakes are made, and if things go according to plan, Ferrari should be able to pull off a 1-2. I think Massa will most likely take pole tomorrow. Kimi should be able to qualify 2nd or 3rd if he's heavier. I'm curious whether Heikki will be faster than Lewis this weekend.

GO FERRARI

Kimi + Ferrari = 2008 World Championship. All of the people I know, you should have known that Franco.

I watched that crash again, and that cannot be blamed on no traction control. Those cars are so aero-depentant that any air lose to a section, in this case the under tray, and the car goes.

You've read too much into what happened last year. Contrary to popular belief they're aloud to race eachother so Heikki isn't going to get shut out until it is mathematically impossible for him to win the Championship. Ron Dennis has warned Hamilton that Heikki is going to be challenging very soon.

I know, I know

I hope you're right of course!! It's funny, because when Raikkonen never won a title, I wanted him to win badly, even if that meant only one title, but now he already achieved that, I want him to win another one. Two in a row would be even greater of course!!

Yeah, and I think Heikki can. At first I wasn't too sure if I'm completely honest, but Kovalainen did really well the the last two races, and I expect him to improve. So it won't be a ''walk-over'' for Lewis, but I do expect him on top at the end of the season.

KUBICA ON POLE!!!!!!!!!
<
<

That's really great for him and BMW. It's not a shock to see BMW take pole, because so far they were always fast in the quali, and now they finally took pole. Although I do have to say I'm a little bit disappointed with Massa, he should have been on pole. He was on top all weekend. I do think the Ferrari's and also the McLarens should be stronger tomorrow when it comes to race pace, so it's interesting to see what Robert will do.

Congrats to Kubica, great lap. BMW are right there in quali, and just little off the pace in race pace. Still Massa should have got pole (but as usual he made a mistake). But it could be worse ... like Kimi, he was SO SLOW all day. I guess he is carrying a heavy load.

For the race I'm still betting on Ferrari to win.

GO ALONSO!!!

Renault what a piece of junk you've made!!!

same here

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Teomolca @ Apr 5 2008, 01:04 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>(but as usual he made a mistake).

The main mistake Massa committed was to stay with Ferrari.

If the team had worked for him as they do with Haikkonen, including strategies, he could take the tittle as easy as Haikkonen can. But when in the world a man who get a salary 6 times lower than "the champion", could win a championship ?
<

For Haikkonen is easy don't commit mistakes when the WHOLE team is back to him. Massa mistakes aren't Massa mistakes, is Ferraris lack of attention to the best driver in the team.

If Ferrari wants Massa really getting the tittle, I don't have any doubt he can get it with ease. BTW, there is at least 10 drivers out there who can win the tittle if they really have total attention of a team and car like Ferrari.

It's clear, Felipe is the 2nd driver in Ferrari since himself have arrived, only shielding Schumacher and Haikkonen multi-million guys. It's a shame 'cause he is as great as Haikkonen, Alonso and Lewis and he can win a tittle too.

Last race was a joke, after the 1st pit Ferrari messed up with Massa's car enough to keep him in second and without offers any threat for Kimi. It was clear, Ferrari favored Kimi in the 1st pit. In that case Massa pushed really hard desperately to reach Haikkonen and this forced him to commit a mistake. Is it Massa's fault? Yeah it is but Ferrari provoked that. And it was propositional: favour the 1st million driver.

There is nothing special in Haikkonen and IMO Alonso and Massa are the best drivers out there, not by far, but a little bit than Haikkonen and Lewis. But since Alonso is not capable of winning this year, I will cheer hard for Lewis beating Haikkonen by far and .... up with Ferrari ....... plans in choosing a man to win a tittle.

I'm really impressed how easy is for Ferrari turns Massa into a poor driver, it's incredible. Last year they messed up hard with him.

I don't buy any more Fiat in my entire life
