One thing thats really starting to piss me off this year, is these people who refuse to give Massa credit for the great job hes doing. It's mainly the Raikkonen cheerleaders, but there are quite a few others doing it too. I visit many F1 forums, and on one of them there is a thread comparing Massa to, of all people, Eddie Irvine. I think he deserves a lot more credit than that.

I don't normally outright support a driver, but I'm edging towards Felipe. I believe he can be a World Champion, and I hope he does. I guess I like supporting the underdog with heart and a passion for what he does, than the overpaid fan favourite who doesn't seem to give a fck either way.

Massa could easily be winning the world championship had he not had bad luck at Australia and made a stupid mistake at Malaysia. At the moment he looks to be easily a match for Kimi.

Comparing him to Eddie Irvine is ridiculous. Eddie did nothing in the ferrari until Schumi broke his leg and even then with ferraris full support and Schumi letting him win a couple of races he couldnt beat Mika.

Massa could easily be world champion this year, but then so could Kimi or Alonso or Lewis. It is an interesting title fight we have this year!

Exactly. I guess reputation counts for a lot in F1. Because Felipe's isn't that established, its almost as if some people dont want to believe hes doing well, and make excuses for it rather than give him credit. Sad really.

Not a bad race.

Lots of DNF what was happening out there?? seems a lot of the cars were slowing after making their pitstops.

Well done to Massa, funny that MS is advising him and not Kimi who doesn't want to know, and he wins by a mile.

Unlucky for Alonso on the first turn, he had to do something.

Lewis What can I say!!!! another solid ride.... DC bloody good drive, looks like Newys car is shaping up, and also nice to see NR finish this time in the points.

Sata had a geat drive and showed maturity, ie, no ramming another driver off the track...Honda must be scratching their heads at the No.1 team, Button was .... as usual..

If he keeps driving like this it wont take long for people to take him seriously. I think his competitors, the Ferrari team and MS himself already are.

Yep..
I think a lot of people already do, including myself.
Cause so far the guy is doing a great job this season, finishing 6th in melbourne after starting from the back, scoring three pole positions in a row, and winning 2 races as well!!! If he continues like this he will really be the man to beat. I think Massa really improved over the years, that's maybe the difference between him and Kimi I think. Kimi was already really good in the beginning, and I don't see real improvements tbh. Massa on the other hand was a real ''wild'' boy at first, making errors, but now, after testing for Ferrari, driving alongside MS for a season, he has shown great improvements!! Massa was actually always one of my favourite drivers, he still is, if he continues like this, he could win the title. Would be amazing for all the brazilian fans..who are waiting for a title since Ayrton won his last in 91.

Did anyone else see that Brazilian fan yesterday on the tv. They showed him during the podium celebrations and he was all alone up in a tree/bush of some sort waving his massive flag!! it was hilarious.
