I agree, earth is much more of a traditional formula 1 car shape.

Im sure these 'things' serve an aerodynamic purpose

The thing what worries me about all these little winglets on the cars, what if they detach from the car, midway down a straight, at 200mph with another car following? It could become a mobile friggin gullotine

They wouldnt put a winglet on the car for decoration.. so at least theyre trying to improve

Both the big two japs are a bit of a joke at the moment, Toyotas effort has been for a while imo..

I have to say if they did do it for decoration that would be an interesting car lining up on the grid.. Ive always wondered what it what it would be like if all the teams got rid of their chief designers and replaced them with little kids and some crayons. The result would get people watching F1

Orr..you have a weird way of thinking!!!!!

But I do like the idea though..

They should hire me at Ferrari, I would design Kimi's car and he would be 20 sec faster than the rest...ok..I think it's time for me to go to bed

Mclaren seems to be very strong. I guess Fernando would really want to win in his own country, but I don't think we should write off Ferrari. I'd expected Ferrari to be stronger, but I guess the circumstances are different now than they were last week when they tested. Nevertheless, they should be able to fight for the win..

Tomorrow should be interesting!!!
Hopefully Raikkonen will take the pole, but I wouldn't be surprised if Nando would take it.

Can't wait!!!!

He is slowest of the big boys so far isnt he? But i think we might see a Australia type qualifying where he beats them all down right at the end.

I hope so Tom, but I'm not too sure somehow
<

It's not gonna be easy, that's for sure!!!
But that's a good thing I suppose..I rather see a real fight than Australia tbh, but then again, if it means he would win, I wouldnt mind that much
<

Anyway, what do you guys expect from Renault this weekend??
Will they be able to fight for the best positions (behind McLaren and Ferrari) or will they get beaten by BMW???

i think BMW still has them, but the battle is on to be the first of the second rate teams on the podium. BMW have been all alone between the top teams and the rest, not renault are getting involved things could get more interesting in the races.

Lets go with some race predictions then.

1. Alonso
2. Kimi
3. Hamilton

Ok, on a more serious note:

1: Alonso
2: Raikkonen
3: Hamilton

So,same as some of you!!
But then again, Massa could reach the podium as well, but one thing is almost sure, it's gonne be a battle between Ferrari and Mclaren (again!!!). Would love to see Nick finally reach a podium spot though...
