For Jenson Button fans:

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>Jenson Button's early season woes continued as his practice session came to an end with just under 30 minutes of the session remaining.

On his 19th lap the Briton struggled with his Honda and after coming off briefly he returned to the circuit only for the rear of his car to suddenly shoot out flames, forcing him off the track.

I loved the photo in today's paper showing Felipe Massa pretend punching Lewis Hamilton..they're great friends.

Congrats to Massa for taking his 2nd pole of the season!!!! Ferrari took pole in all the 3 races so far!!

I'm sure we gonna see an interesting start tomorrow. I have the feeling Lewis will have a strong start, I just hope Kimi can stay in front of Fernando. McLaren seems to be having better starts than Ferrari so far. I'm also curious about their strategies, let's hope the race won't be decided due to strategies only, would be nice to see some fights on track.

Hopefully Massa can keep his cool tomorrow. I personally don't think he's gonna make a mistake again. Anyway, would love to see Kimi or Lewis win the race!!

Looks like it should be a good race tomorrow. I think McLaren need to have a car leading the race from the start like in Sepang if they are to have a chance of winning the race. Otherwise i think Massa and Kimi will most likely take a 1-2 if they get away from the McLarens in the early part of the race.

Do you think both Kimi and Fernando are heavier on fuel than their teammates??? I hope Kimi is, cause 0.5 sec is quite a gap.

I think Alonso is although he is only about 0.2 slower than Lewis even if he isn't though i expect he will outperform Hamilton in the race. Kimi probably is but 0.5sec is a lot so to make up for that he would have to be carrying quite a bit more fuel.

I hope McLaren can get a good start as it is probably neccessary to keep the race interesting because if the 2 ferraris get ahead then they will more than likely run away with the race.

Actually I don't think Ferrari will be that much stronger than Mclaren. McLaren seems to be doing a great job so far this weekend. I think the start will indeed be crucial. Would be nice if Lewis would overtake Massa immediately!!!

Do you think Lewis will end in front of Fernando tomorrow??? So far he did a better job all weekend (beating FA in free practise 1, 2, 3 & the quali). I do think Fernando will drive a strong race though, he usually does...

GO HAMILTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and Kimi too
<

I wish they didn't have to carry their race fuel load in part 3 of quali, how the hell are we supposed to know whos quickest? Last time I checked that was the whole point of qualifying..

Anyway I think it will be Hamilton's race tommorow. I think Ferrari have given Kimi should have the better strategy, by fuelling him heavier than Massa, I seriously doubt he is legitmately half a second slower than his team mate, maybe a tenth, but not half a second. However, I dont think he has the physical fitness to stay with Hamilton in the heat, I think he will get second. I have a feeling Alonso might DNF for some reason, just a feeling. I reckon Heidfelt on the podium, too.

Should be good anyway.

Good to see the BMW's at the sharp end again, and a good placing for Webber who has totally destroyed his teamate...

BMW looks strong indeed. At the start of the season I thought Renault would be the 3rd best team, but so far BMW is the best team after McLaren and Ferrari. Nice to see them do well, and they also have two good drivers. Would be nice if they could score a podium (after two 4th places from Heidfeld!!).

About Webber, he for sure did a very good job. I'm definitely curious about his strategy. I think Webber should beat DC this season, David is getting old, and I wouldn't mind to see someone new next season tbh. Too bad DC had that gearbox problem today, otherwise he would have done a better job..

It seems it will be an interesting race tomorrow, let's see if Massa can handle the pressure from Hamilton this time. Hamilton needs to attack since he is lighter than at least Alonso and probably Kimi too and definately the BMWs.

Unfortunately for McLaren both their cars start on the dirty side of the grid. And unlike Malaysia it does matter here.

Anyway GOOOO ALONSOOO!!!

I missed it, I was out with a lady!

If Lewis attacks turn 1 anyway similar to the previous GPs, he will surely 'truly' lead hid first race! You're right Teo, it will be interesting.

Do we know for sure that Fernando is lighter on fuel?

GOOOOOO LEWIS!!!

DC is doing a fantastic job so far, Raikkonen catching Hamilton and Heidfeld comfortably in 4th - a very good race so far too!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Valentino Is God @ Apr 15 2007, 03:45 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>A very good race!

Championship looks very interesting now!!!
<

It looks very interesting indeed!!!!!! Fernando, Kimi AND Lewis all have 22 points so far. I think this season will be great to watch, cause we don't have one team dominating, both McLaren and Ferrari look very strong.

About the race..
Massa did a great job today. He didn't make any mistakes and he was in charge from the start on. Kimi did ''ok'', not great if you ask me, but I'm just happy he finished on the podium again. Lewis was the man of the race imo. Again he did a great job!!!!!! I just have no words to describe him, he's GREAT!!!
<
At the end of the 2nd stint I thought Kimi would maybe overtake Lewis or go faster on the harder tyres, but that didn't happen. Lewis drove a very solid race. You wouldn't say he's a rookie!!! It's only a matter of time before he wins a race, I think it's gonna be soon!! He did a better job than Fernando Alonso ALL weekend.
Alonso didn't do a bad job I think, he did ok, but getting beaten by Lewis and being overtaken by Heidfeld surely wont feel good, but he did what he usually does, and that's scoring points.

I have to say Nick is doing a GREAT job. He finished 4th in all the races so far, and that's very very good, considering he doesn't drive for one of the 2 top teams!!!! Ow, and I loved his overtaking manouvre on Alonso today!!! At the moment he's performing at the maximum, and I'm sure he's gonna get a few podium finishes this season!!

Too bad DC couldn't finish the race, cause he was driving a fantastic race imo, starting from 21st position, and chasing for points!!! So, well done David!!!
<

Both Renaults again very disappointing, but I guess it's gonna be like this for most of the season, cause Ferrari, McLaren and BMW are gonna finish in the top 6, so that means they have to fight for the last points. Too bad Heikki didn't score a point, if it continues like this I think Flavio will give Nelson the seat halfway season...

Firstly well done Massa he deserved the race win although Hamilton pushed him hard for it.
McLaren had a mixed day really, Hamilton will be delighted with a great second place but Alonso was down in 5th behind the BMW of Heidfeld which is a surprise.
Heidfeld must be one of the best drivers on the grid now because lets face it the BMW isn't as good as the top 2 cars but he is able to race with them and beat some of them.

The racing is much closer than it has been in recent years as it seems at every race from now on there will be at least 4 cars with a realistic chance of winning the race. the 2 ferraris, the 2 mclarens and possibly BMW.

THe championship is looking good!
Name Car Nat Points
1 Fernando Alonso McLaren-Mercedes Spa 22
2 Kimi Raikkonen Ferrari Fin 22
3 Lewis Hamilton McLaren-Mercedes GB 22
4 Felipe Massa Ferrari Brz 17
5 Nick Heidfeld BMW Sauber Ger 15

Of the rest, Coulthard drove great until he retired. Renault are surprisingly slow this year and look like only getting points when others retire (e.g. Red Bull).

Honda were rubbish again, Button out on first lap and Barrichello finished but no where near the points.

Its a shame they struggle to overtake otherwise that race would have been fantastic, it was still pretty good though. Good to see Massa win, both the drivers who everyone considers to be the best in the championship finished over ten seconds behind their teammate today. Hmm...

Heidfelts gotta be in with a chance of winning a race this year, especially when we go to the Nurburgring. What I can't believe is that BMW are reluctant to resign him
<

Lewis what a boy! Props to Massa though, but why does Webber not have the race pace and fail to finish?
