Should see some overtaking on the long back straight.

I have Kimi for a race win this time..

Discuss...

Head says:
1. Schumacher
2. Alonso
3. Raikkonen

Heart says:
1. Button
2. Raikkonen
3. Coulthard

I think Schumacher will pull out the win this week.
followed by Kimi then Alonzo

I think Alonso will choke now that he has real competition.
<

Alex Wurz the likeable Austrian test driver for the Williams teams was fastest in first practice.

Expect the drivers to work for their pay this weekend, track temprature is estimated to reach 55c, and as David Coulthard describes it, its like having ... in a sauna...and each driver to lose around 3 kilo.

I'm getting so desprerate for competition I'm actually gonna watch this. I know it's a desperate move but last night I ended up watching rugby
<
Then the commonwealth Games!!
<

Speaking of which, Dazz, when you brits gonna take that old tart you call a Queen back?

You know, I'm glad I started a motoGP forum & not an F1 forum

I've been a life long fan of F1 - but today's race was synonymous with the way F1 has gone.

Go
Mad dash for turn one
Overtaking
Crashes - one big name goes out first lap (this case, Kimi "the most boring driver in the world" Raikonnnnnnennnnnn
Commentars already discuss fuel & pit strategies

Then its just a speed trap till the pit stops, and things jig up a bit, then thats that. Wheres the action gone!!

F1 is just a techo/pit lane race, theres no battles between the top guys anymore.

I like my racing to have plenty of overtaking!

Good drive by fisichella mind.

Some smartass at Renault fueled Alonso's car twice, so he went to qualify ultra-heavy. Despite that problem he did a good race and got 8 valuable points that increase his lead of the championship.

Fisichella's race was good, not as good as Alonso but very consistent.

Rosberg really ...... up his race in the start, some people have a lot of faith in that kid, today Webber was better (until the cosworths blew).

Schumacher really should start thinking about retirement, Massa beat him despite starting dead last.

couldn't agree more. I can see the appeal that more intellectual people have to it, but it was still bloody boring compared to any bike racing. Only watched it because after missing the two SBK rounds due to lack of TV coverage, I was desperate for motorsport.

We got the BBC coverage here with the lame Aussie commentators puttin in their two cents after ad breaks. I heard that woman talking to Kimi after he crashed. He said somthing like "Sombody hit me and my rear suspension broke".... Shy guy stating the obvious

Fisi won, Teo

Admittedly, Alonso was better in the actual race, but Kimi did well over the weekend. He won, got pole and his fuel gauge was working
<

Alonso's start was great, moving on the outside of the Williams cars then diving in past them. Clearly Fernando didn't like being way back there.

I think heads will be rolling at Williams HQ. That Cosworth is great, until it dies

Starting to agree with that

Methinks poor General is suffering from lack of GP racing syndrome. A good race at Jerez should cure him.
