ROSSI! ROSSI!ROSSI! HOI!HOI!HOI!

Just finished watching the race online. What a cracker!!
I was yelling, screaming, hiitting things in the office...just like the good ol'days!!

WHen Rossi wins, he has to fight big time. Too bad Stoner had the clutch problem..he wouldve added to the excitement for sure but his bike seemed twitchy more than usual. He was catching towards the end though. I guess we'll have to wait till the next round. It's good to see the bikes on a more level ground again.
The Hondas are finally looking fast with Hayden ripping the fastest lap of the race and Dani coming in 2nd.
It's about time Michelin got ther're act together after being bush-wacked by Bridgestone. Hopefully they keep up the good work...

AMAZING race!!!

Of course there are double standards.

Winners win more for winning. Losers lose more for losing.

Whine to the government that you are a weak poor loser = stack of gold (majority rule). Whine to Dorna and the sporting press that you are a pathetic loser = backhanded smack down (rule of the fittest). God bless sport even if I do agree with Rossi.
<
Such a spledid suspension of human decency. Without sport I would probably go insane from all this political correctness going around. Nothing beats taking a whooping, and then laying one down the next go round.

Rossi needs to hit bottom, that way winning will give him the old high.
<

Put simply mylexicon...winners are grinner and the rest can please themselves!!!

WELCOME BACK MOTOGP!
<

Superb race, much better than Catalunya IMO solely because I think the track makes for better racing.

ALL of the races today I saw on TV were superb, apart from F1.

Noticed something too:

When Rossi has a problem and speaks about it, he's whining.

But when Stoner has one, he's simply being honest.

Double standards?

Phleg Stoner is not whining, winging!!! But I’m sure that he had more problems than he outlined in the interview as that bike didn’t seem right all through qualifying, it was going off line and bucking just like it was in the race! There is most certainly something wrong with traction, suspension and/or tyre combination on the Ducati. But Stoner fans are not winging, whining that’s for the others...great race, good win to Val, good ride by Dani but if Stoners Ducati was 100% and he was up there with them it would have been a great race as Stoner would have won!!!

Stoner still managened to see off a challenge from the former MotoGP champion to retain 3rd place, which then allow Stoner to possibly hold off wining the title another week and if we and he are really lucky put off wining the title until he arrives in Phillip Island!

Rossi did his magic yet again....nice to see him back to himself.

Pedrosa good race, but I just did not see him being able to fight (really fight) off Rossi for the win.

Message for the Hoff...Germany loves Rossi more than you, Dorna love Rossi and UK riders more than you, Ducati love Casey and want to make him happy more than they do you...So maybe it's time to go quitely into the night and let someone that is not a quiter come forward....BRING ON THE CHAZ!

Great ride by Rossi ... never looked like finishing second to Danni! He looked well pleased with himself and certainly gave the crowd what they wanted! I liked the crowd chanting his name at the end!

Danni was certainly giving it his all ... you could not fault his determination!

Well done Casey ... mature ride! Good fight back at the end ... he is no quiter!

Nicky gave it his best shot ... good ride!

Hard to comment on all the others becuase it was all about the front few! Very surprising to see two engines explode in the one race!

Part of me wants Casey to win the championship on Japanese soil next weekend ... that would piss them off!
<
<

However I hope it happens at the Island ... the place will go off!!

RACE OF THE YEAR IF YOU ASK ME.

yep amen to that, last year's Estoril was the race of the year for me, mainly cos KR Jr led the race for about 30 seconds
<
Oh yeah and that other unfortunate incident, I won't say it cos it'll make Jumkie cry again
<
but I think from now on Estoril may well be my favorite European track, the last corner and race to the line is always gonna be a nailbiter if the bikes are pretty close and although it wasn't as close as last year's Rossi/Elias battle it wasn't far off. Great stuff. They did show the Rossi interview on Eurosport on the 8 o'clock reshow Rog, he looked damn happy.

Rossi boys are just gettin over- excitable cscvaw, it's been a while

read the thread again. I can sort of understand it though, all good fun. Stoner will wrap it all up at the Island. Krusty's right though, I bet Ducati would like to win it on Jap soil, just to rub it in, Honda owns Motegi don't they?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(krazy91 @ Sep 16 2007, 11:01 PM) <div class='quotemain'>
Ill be just sabotage stoner so I dont have to see him win it in person (soley because of my hate for certain members on this forum not stoner)
wow get a grip there krazy man, live for love. It's only a damn forum don't take things so seriously, you will probably never meet anyone on this forum so why not chill out and enjoy yourself, it ain't worth it. How can you hate a bunch of guys you never met?

It's actually owned by "Mobilityland Corporation".

One of the attractions there is "The Honda Collection Hall where a trip down Honda's memory lane can be enjoyed by viewing the legendary motorcycles and automobiles" ... dead giveaway about the real owners!
<

No doubt some Marketing buffoon after drinking a lot of sake and after being paid a lot of yen came up with the corporations name!

oh wait i did it all wrong.....

call the admins CSCVAW has hacked his account!
<

Stoner clearly said that the issue was his clutch and all the false neutrals. I was impressed. Despite that, once he adjusted, he left Hayden in the dust and was closing in on Pedrosa and Rossi. Another five laps and he would have had second place. The boy can ride.
<
Watch him tie it up next week.

yes casey done very well, clearly he has a big talent wasnt sure on one of his coments tho saying he could have won that race....
i mean you cant say for sure, rossi looked like he could have given much more, pedro was strugling , i noticed his bike sliding about at the end looked like the honda was on the limit but credit to him for pushing so hard.

i believe michelin still has alot of work to do, they were giving up at the end, still cant hang in there like the stones but what a race.
if only michelin could of done this earlier.... nicky could have been up there if it wasnt for his mistake im hoping to see more stuff like this.

i still want the traction control toned down cos i think it kicks in to prematurely, give the rider more say me thinks, i mean its killing that edge of the rider using his skill.
i mean think about it you want to hammer round a corner you know your limit, but the traction control kicks in before that limit isnt doing them any favours and takin time away from the riders.

im looking forward to the rest of the season but am looking more forward to next year to be honest, i want to see how it pans out when everyone is
almost near even bike and tyre wise.

anyways role on the next race
<

it was a good race, but for the wrong reasons. i think making a claim that yamaha/honda/michelin are back is jumping the gun way too early. if stoner had not had a problem with the machinery, we'd have different results... casey taking the win with rossi and pedrosa in tow.

if the bike is 100% at motegi, it's gonna be a another <strike>yawnfest</strike> slaughter.

remember, capirossi walked away from everybody last year.
