Of course there are double standards.
Winners win more for winning. Losers lose more for losing.
Whine to the government that you are a weak poor loser = stack of gold (majority rule). Whine to Dorna and the sporting press that you are a pathetic loser = backhanded smack down (rule of the fittest). God bless sport even if I do agree with Rossi.
Such a spledid suspension of human decency. Without sport I would probably go insane from all this political correctness going around. Nothing beats taking a whooping, and then laying one down the next go round.
Rossi needs to hit bottom, that way winning will give him the old high.
Put simply mylexicon...winners are grinner and the rest can please themselves!!!

WELCOME BACK MOTOGP!
Superb race, much better than Catalunya IMO solely because I think the track makes for better racing.
ALL of the races today I saw on TV were superb, apart from F1.
Noticed something too:
When Rossi has a problem and speaks about it, he's whining.
But when Stoner has one, he's simply being honest.
Double standards?
Phleg Stoner is not whining, winging!!! But I’m sure that he had more problems than he outlined in the interview as that bike didn’t seem right all through qualifying, it was going off line and bucking just like it was in the race! There is most certainly something wrong with traction, suspension and/or tyre combination on the Ducati. But Stoner fans are not winging, whining that’s for the others...great race, good win to Val, good ride by Dani but if Stoners Ducati was 100% and he was up there with them it would have been a great race as Stoner would have won!!!
