^^ I hope that happens so it can be decided at Valencia so Hayden can beat Rossi and show all his haters that he deserves the title, but I have a feeling Rossi will leave Estoril as the championship leader

Sydney, if they end up with the same number of points Rossi would become champion. If there is a tie they look at number of race wins.

What would be interesting is a DNF for #69, 1st Pedrosa, 2nd Capirossi, 3rd Melandri & 4th Rossi, just do the maths .......Rossi would be on 237 & leading, Nicky on 236 Pedrosa on 227 Capi & Marco on 225, that would make the final race wide open

OMFG i recon the last race would see one champion and 4 crashes. bet rossi is praying for rain at estoril, correct me if im wrong but i think nicky hates the rain aswell as danni.

Regardless of race positions, and taking current form into account, Rossi's going to come away from Portugal pretty even with Hayden on points. Vale is going to finish on the podium if not win it, whereas Hayden will most likely struggle to put it in the top five, leaving us with a 'real' showdown at Valencia.
