3) gibbers/ melandri

heart:
1) hayden
2) KJR
3) vermeuls..

Head:

1. Rossi
2. Gibbers
3. Cappa

Heart:

1. Rossi
2. Hayden
3. Melandri

I think this is going to be an Italian block party.....

Head says:
1 Rossi
2 Cappy
3 Melandri

With Hayden struggling under pressure......
Should be fun though!

I think rossi is going to win this race, who'd bet against him!?

Rossi
Capirossi
Hayden
Melandri
Pedrosa (unless its damp!)

Part of me wants Hayden to take it to everyone, to sthut the folk up who thinks he doesnt deserve to be leading the championship - but part of me wants Rossi to win, so that Valencia becomes the decider!

One thing for sure, we should have two extremley superb races - cant wait.

Man, the season is nearly over

1 Rossi
2 Pedrosa
3 Melandri
I don't think Hayden will be on the podium as he's not had a very good time at Estoril, Rossi says it's not his favourite but since 2001 1,1,1,1,2 ,hmmmm sandbagging methinks.

Head:
1. Rossi
2. Gibernau (Not a mispelling)
3. Hayden
7. McCoy

Heart:
1. Rossi
2. Hopper
3. MCCOY!!

1, Rossi
2, Melandri
3, Pedrosa
4, Hayden
5, Capirossi
6, McCoy
7, Nakano
8.. hmmm Ellison haha

I tryed to do some stats for the 5 front runners plus the podium riders for the next race at Estoril so:

2005:
1Barros
2Rossi
3Biaggi
4Melandri
----
7Hayden
----
9Capirossi

In 250cc: 1Stoner/ 4th Pedrosa

2004:
1Rossi
2Tamada
3Barros
---
7Capirossi
DNF Melandri
Hayden?? don't know if he rode there? anyone?
In 250cc 4th Pedrosa

2003
1Rossi
2Biaggi
3Capirossi
---
7Melandri
---
9Hayden

in 125cc 4th Pedrosa

2002
1Rossi
2Checa
3Ukawa
---
Capirossi DNF
250cc Melandri 2nd
125cc Pedrosa 10th

2001
1Rossi
2Capirossi
3McCoy
250cc Melandri 2nd
125cc Pedrosa 5th

2000

1McCoy
2Roberts
3Rossi
---
13th Capirossi

250cc Melandri 3rd

So Rossi has a good background here, Capirossi pretty good but on michelin...if bridgestones work good he will be up there, hayden hmmmcan't count him out but i guess it's not his favourite track...but now his on a good bike with the title close he must be up if he wants to get the title, melandri seems pretty good too, pedrosa never reached podium on this track

So with the hope that Bridgestones will work good here:

Heart says:
1 Capirossi
2 Rossi
3 Melandri
4 Pedrosa
5 Sete
6 Hayden

Head says:
1Rossi
2Melandri
3Capirossi
4Hayden
5Pedrosa

hayden sat out estoril in 04. he'd just had that training mishap on a supermotard bike. damaged knee. broken collar bone?

1. rossi 2. capirossi 3. hayden 4. pedrosa. this should propel me right to the top in the league!

Thanks for the info..
good luck with the team ...

For an ideal race for my team shoul be Capirossi/Rossi/Sete/Rest honda riders

I think it'll go somthing like

1. Rossi
2. Melandri
3. Capirossi
4. Hayden
5. Stoner

If McCoy had a full 990 that was tried, tested and competitive, I'd definately put him on the podium, and I think he can do well comparitively, but the Ilmor will hold him back, so will any of that sliding he seems to love. Sadly, those days are gone. Hayden and McCoy were born out of time. IMO ten years ago they would have been giving Doohan a run for his money, but not on the TC four strokes. Still, It'll be intresting to see what McCoy can come up with, despite his handicap. Still think it's stupid for ilmor to show everyone what theyv'e got so openly before they have to. They should know that Japanese factories have very prying eyes.

Garry will be under orders to bring it home safe and gather as much data as possible, these last two GP's are just a test for those guys.

Hayden hassling Doohan on a 500? Richo?

Prediction:

Pole- Rossi

Podium-
1st Rossi
2nd Melandri
3rd Hayden

I think that Peter Benson finaly got Hayden's clutch working and they will have a much better showing this week. Melandri has been coming on strong as of late. Rossi is well rossi. I dont think that the ducati and the stones are suited very well to this type of track. He will finish well but I think out of the podium unless Hayden crashes which is a very good possibility.

I guess we'll never know Skid, but don't you think Nicky's riding style would suit a 500 a lot better than a 990?

His style is hangin' it out for sure but a lot of guys can ride like that and at the moment Nicky's style is kind of involuntary, he wants it to stay in line. I'd say from his superbike days he'd get used to the 'park it and square it off' approach to a turn. That's only half the story, lighter bikes, tyres not as good, no traction control, hard ......., Doohan would still kick his arse.
