Crutchlow extends his contract for another season

I think Smith's contract was signed in Qatar at the begining of the season. Cal's behaviour is so funny and wierd. after all those complains he finally settled down.
 
His little rant was obviuosly just a ploy to get more money and it seems to have worked. He'll probably now be on what Dovi is currently on as he takes over the main rider at Tech3.

about cals financial troubles..haha....

i totally agree that every rider should be paid since they provide the entertainment for me (hey dorna,how about a base salary+points bonuses?pay rides suck)

but i can get furious if somebody complains that he only makes whatever, at least 10.000&euro; a month doing what he loves.

somebody tell him that i'm glad to change jobs with cal.

motorcycle racers only have a few years to earn their money?tell that to a teenage drug dealer that has far worse chances of employment after forced retirement.



....... crazy all that, some go into life long debt and break both bodies and bank accounts to ride and some cry because they have to settle for a bmw instead of a ferrari.

I was actually about to raise this possibility in jest. I was about to post that I'd pay to see this. When you think about it - he's the only logical affiliated rider available......apart from Aoyama

Rea would be absolutely brilliant - the guy's almost as detested on here as Stoner - whereas my love for them both is immeasurable.

I'm a big Rea fan too, would love to see him on a go bike.
 
Well it seems Cals cunning ruse has worked.



"Tech3 and Yamaha made great strides to keep me so it was great to repay them straight away."



Not the way I would have gone about it but fair play, its worked for him. I'd say he looked a little sheepish about it when he brushed off Azi's question in parc freme so he obviously isn't proud about it.



Still, I'm glad he isn't leaving.

Can't claim to know his character that well... but I never believed he was dumb enough to walk away from a seat at Tech 3

who hates rea? ok jumkie confused rea with sofucklu but other than that most observers would agree he is at least one of the top3 riders in superbike.

i don't want to bash cal because i think highly of him but i'm fairly confident that rea has more potential.

while cals performance looks real good every now and then he was almost beat by abraham on the worst bike of the grid last year , and is yet to finish on the podium.



if rea gets the ride for 2 races i say he beats cal in at least one of them.

anybody take the bet?

i'm no insider but i doubt bradl would get stoners ride for 2 races.just no sense in it, the performance of the hrc bike shouldn't be that much better than his satellite bike and he would have to work with different people for just 2 races in his rookie season. no leap in performance expected.

would be far more simple to just let rea ride the bike



no idea about how smith will be doing next year.i never rated him as one of the best while he was on the aprilia but then again the tech3 might be crap.

No Stoner, no Dovi, Marc's rookie year, and saddled with Bradley, I expect Cal to be on the podium regularly. Let the parity games continue. Thanks Pappa Carmelo. You make rooting for the show soooo Ezy.

Fausto Gresini has confirmed to MCN he is in talks with Ben Spies. Apparently BMW in WSB have offered deal to Leon Haslam now
