Diaz was right though, Conor could have finished him off early and didn't. Thought he was leery about getting caught on the mat again. Regardless of outcome, Diaz has one of the strongest chins I have ever seen.

I thought Conor was trying to conserve his energy by not jumping all over Diaz when he had him hurt. Conor still gassed anyway, but Diaz was slowed by all the leg kicks and blood in his eyes.

Mike, I think Marc's comments are aimed at Rossi. To me it reads like a preemptive attempt at defusing the minions from crying foul. Marc seems to be putting a neon yellow sign around his words that he may have been aided by Rossi's coat tails. I'm not buying it of course, Marc was making up ground on Rossi like gangbusters. But it seems like Marc doesn't want to give Rossi any room to talk ..... Had he not come out this humble, well it could reignite Rossi to ..... about Marc screwing up his championship. At very least Roosti could come out and say Marc is benefiting from his lap "development". I think Marc is brilliant, and he's bending over backwards to massage the ego of Rossi and the Yellow Hordes.

I disagree with that, mentally sure but I mean Diaz is inconsistent and has lost to most top fighters he has fought. They're both natural LW with McGregor being just a tad smaller and going through an absolute hell to get to FW.

Awesome q2 that last corner move from Marquez was pretty brilliant. Rossi doing something similar back was certainly petty in my view. But doesn't matter looking forward to waking up in the morning and watching the race.

I guess if MM puts a semi-hard racing move on Rossi in qualifying he is entitled to return it in kind. Ill advised and counter-productive are the words I would apply, since Marc had already set his time and it looked as though the counter-move slowed Rossi and rather interfered with any chance of him setting a time on the ensuing lap. Won't make much difference if it is wet though, as Lorenzo won't then get away at the front anyway.
