Petrucci got a 3 grid ..... and 1 point championship deduction for a RACING INCIDENT? I wonder what this "new" Race Indiscretion would have done with Sepang 15. Can someone link me to RD's explanation?

You are not forced to do anything. You choose to act like this on this forum. If I think your point favoring VR is correct, I will back you every damn time. But, you have to give respect to get it. And MM deserves a ton of respect as a rider, in my (never) humble opinion.

Arrib (I think it was) mentioned that this is now two years in a row at the same corner where the bike has gone over the fence ........ and I fully agree that it is concerning for it to happen once, but twice is now worthy of serious concern

"Maybe with Pol I lose some time in the last corner," Márquez told the press conference, "But the time what I gain in all the lap with the small slipstream was much better. Normally I’m a rider that I go alone, but this time I found a good slipstream and maybe this slipstream give me the pole."

Oh dear, I was looking forward to seeing if you could say something interesting. But all you've managed to do is a generic and cliched response straight out of 2002. I'd like to say I am shocked...but...who would I be kidding here.

This is the second such post-qualifying quote I have heard/seen from MM, which would suggest that he is at pains to point out that he may have got pole because of a benefit he gained from slipstreaming. As I have said, I somehow doubt he is saying this for Rossi's benefit or that he considers Rossi to be the rider he deprived of pole.

So far we have only Vudu's complaint about the matter, a self-declared Clayton's complaint ie a complaint he is making when he has no complaint. Jorge is making no complaint, and I also somehow doubt he suspects collusion between Rossi and MM, which seemed to be an underlying implication in the case of Suzuki's disappointment with Vinales not getting pole on that previous occasion.

If Vudu wishes to propose that each rider has a single lap or a couple of laps on his own to set pole, I can't argue that might be the fairest system, although I don't find WSBK super pole much of a spectacle myself.

Clayton's Complaint. Nice.

Mike, I think Marc's comments are aimed at Rossi. To me it reads like a preemptive attempt at defusing the minions from crying foul. Marc seems to be putting a neon yellow sign around his words that he may have been aided by Rossi's coat tails. I'm not buying it of course, Marc was making up ground on Rossi like gangbusters. But it seems like Marc doesn't want to give Rossi any room to talk ..... Had he not come out this humble, well it could reignite Rossi to ..... about Marc screwing up his championship. At very least Roosti could come out and say Marc is benefiting from his lap "development". I think Marc is brilliant, and he's bending over backwards to massage the ego of Rossi and the Yellow Hordes.

I still believe there is a take out coming for Marquez at the hands of Rossi. He will not let Marquez run away with the title without taking him out at least once.
