Agreed - a dry weekend would be nice.
Send the rain our way. our dams are only holding 20% capacity in Melbourne at the moment.

I can't believe I'm not going to be able to watch this live, due to plans that I was not part of to go away for the weekend.
<
I'm going to be on media blackout until I can get back home and watch this on Sunday night.

Go Rossi!

Rain would suck..it seems to be raining so much this season...here in nj it has been raining for the entire month of june so far...only like three or 4 days have seen sun....im so tired of it

I don't think a monsoon is coming to Australia anytime soon. BTW, can you go run outside and grab me a koala bear and ship it out to me.... they look so cute and cuddly.

I hope Lorenzo takes the win, as he needs one to show Rossi that he isn't afraid to step up to him.

i think is gonna rain , i hope we can see a better flag to flag race from rossi

You all say no rain yet the mixed wet to dry races this year have been the most exciting. Rossi's "great pass" last race was really just Lorenzo running wide and Rossi riding straight through. I could deal with a mixed race again no problem.

you probably know you re wrong

but if you look closely the pass from a certain angle, rossi loses the front because of the hard braking and immense corner speed in a turn where noone overtakes, and saves it.. rossi had a tighter line, lorenzo had the right line. he could have fallen off there, but he managed to hold his line and win.. and that makes it an even greater pass!
<

edit.
found the vid.. look carefully.. http://img190.imageshack.us/i/rossialmostlow.mp4/

He was perfectly positioned but Lorenzo screwed up and didn't cover the inside line. You look again he was way too wide. Maybe team orders???

If it rains it will be nice. Can expect an exciting and crazy race. But it's better to have a dry race provided there are real racing at front, mid pack and back.

What, over a radio with the noise of a screaming engine filling your ears?

That move was simplicity. TO enjoy races that are won because of formula one style pitstops is blasphemy.

gee!! .... I'd nominate that for the most boring pass in history looking at that vid. Almost looks like Lorenzo props and lets Rossi pass. Looked Either that or Lorenzo fell asleep
<

Maybe Gsfan has a point .... team orders??

Certainly didn't look like Catalunya 07 for action.
