Hello all, just wondering if anyone on this forum coming over here for the race.
My dad and Little brother are going, i am staying in england to study, be poor and die of jealousy
Ok my dad is leaving on thursday, and has asked me to see if anyone who has been to the circuit knows their way around. The information he has found says there is limited open viewing, is this the case and how good is it? Also he has tickets for the grandstand at the entrance to turn two and doesn't know which part of it he should be aiming for as it appears to have un-numbered seating. Any help would be great, cheers
I was in Estoril exactly this time last year. Cascais actually which is a few minutes away. To me this is just one more reason to hate Dorna. Why couldn't Estoril have been in April last year?!?!

I did go to the racetrack for a track day but sat in the grandstand and it was open seating with no tickets so can't help you Tom. Sorry.

As for rain...it´s supost to be sunny starting sunday so YEPPI!
As for seating it is all first come first serve. The grand stand has two areas A and B. If your dad is on A then pretty much anywhere he sits he can see that whole finishing straight the entrance to the first turn just before and the one after. The stand B is off to the left of A so the visibility for the entering turn is not as great but the futher left he sits the better he will see the exit turn of the straight. Hope that helps.
I´m in stand D, just at the mouth of the exit from the pit lane. A friend of my mine and I made a huge yellow banner. It´s yellow, says Rossi and has a turtle on it. There are more things on it but I won´t say cause I want to see if they show it on tv. We spent a lot of time making the bander so we are quite proud of it. Please let me know if you see it.
PS Tom, on race day tell your dad to get there SUPER eary case it fills up really quick, friday and sunday is pretty tame.

Fair enough, I always go early too but I thought I would warn you. BTW, it should have said Friday and Saturday are pretty tame...was tired when I wrote this.
UPDATE: Sunny over here with a temp of 10ºC looks like mister rain has gone away!!!! Yepppiiiiii
