Air Asia Fiat 2011

I'm sure it reduced the number of drinkers and the amount of alcohol fuelled violence - which is becoming a major issue here in Oz.

Make the punishment harsher and enforce it. Politics means that this will never happen. It's only a cigarette after all...

My point is that government either thinks it is ok or doesn't. They are sending out mixed signals the way the laws are currently.

i couldn't give a .... if ciggys are legal or not, i dont use them and im not bothered other people do. Rossi said he would not use tobacco sponsorship. When he went to yam he said he had no choice but once the contract ended he would never use it again. If he does use tobacco money at duc then he is a sell out imo.

Ducati were the first to really benefit from Magneto Marelli - a Fiat subsidiary.

Thats a new one

I thought Rossi was their main man.?

He's talking about violence in homes, at parties and in bars, guys beating their wives to death, drunk driving deaths... that sort of thing.

Prohibition created violence between gangsters in opposing mobs.

For the record - I'm not anti-alcohol. This stuff is just a fact of life. Some can handle booze and some can't.

Best case would be a red Marlboro bike - they can't show their name anyway - with a white side panel F-I-A-T. After all Fiat was never with yamaha for JL or Spies. Yamaha would then be even deeper in the .... for 2011 and 2012 with no development racer and less cash. Not good for MotoGp, but an unfortunate looming reality.

Spies had a fair reputation as a developer of superbikes.

toby moody posted on twitter....For those asking: 3 man Repsol CS DP AD & 2 man Gresini. MS HA. Air Asia Yamahas. All discussed last Friday morning....

Hiroshi Aoyama? on gresini honda.

Good on you for sticking to you opinion. if you fell strong enough to state a public opinion on a firebrand social issue, you shouldnt change that stance just because it becomes a liability in your life style. It would be like someone protesting against abortion, then getting one because they got pregnant at an inopportune time.

You are right. Prohibition helps with keeping down the masses of people on the street doing stupid things that's all. At the moment in Sydney Friday Saturday nights the city is full of idiots walking the streets pissed off their nut and doing everything they shouldn't. Last time i got in a blue I was walking through the city with my gf at the time and we were both grabbed by some pissed .........

I also am not for prohibition of alcohol otherwise I'd have to find another way to kill my liver.

Cigarettes on the other hand, I don't smoke but I just see that we've got government saying one thing, the ciggie companies another and a continual fight as to what businesses can do or not when it comes to marketing a legal product. To me it is either legal or not, if legal it should be advertised.

So can I surmise from this statement that if Rossi goes with tobacco money - you will

actually acknowledge that he's flawed? You won't be falling on your sword or anything

- right?

well Rossi did not use tobacco sponsorship at Yamaha once those contracts ended. Marlboro contracts end in 2012 if IIRC, so maybe Rossi is the "tobacco sponsor cleaner".....he comes into a manufacturer to change the bike into a winner and in the process he gets them smoke free!! Afterall, he is "The Doctor", so he will do his best to help end the health dangers of smoking.
<

Rizla Suzki will be Rossi's ride in 2014......

I think we need the JOB bike with Cheech Marin as the rider, and Tommy Chong as crew chief. If you want entertainment, there is your team.

So Rog isn't allowed the right to have a level of respect for VR while not agreeing with all he does/is? As you lot seem to have.

If you read (& Understood) the posts of many Rossi fans including myself, acknowledging flaws in his behavior, you definately wouldn't have the 'Bopper' card to play-rather inconveniently......

Not so Breaking news.......Rog has always stated that he would consider Rossi a 'sell out' if he went back to tobacco. I have also expressed my disappointment with his handling of the Yamaha/Lorenzo situation.

Sadly though, most Rossi fans are of late are wasting much of their time defending the ever more outrageous attempts at ridicule from detractors. And certainly notably in the last three race threads. Interestingly enough, there was almost as much talk from the haters about Motegi in the Malaysia thread, the latter a race where a rider passed three quarters of the field to go on and win, something that we haven't seen for years!!

As we know some can't see, and 'Acknowledge' the positive ever......

Funny how you only have a sense of humor or sense of proportion when it's you making the joke.

Fortunately - Rog knows when I'm having him on.

That's because he doesn't suffer from a raging persecution complex.

Nobody ever has to tell him to lighten up.

Sorry mate I couldn't detect the sarcasm in your voice.........

Ms Nastro Azzura made an appearance for quite a while........won't be long before you see the Jim Beams and Jack Daniels in on the act........

If Rossi has special brew or woods 100 rum as a sponsor i will be very happy, i know Bass pete is hoping for merrydown cider
