Trackhouse supposedly confirming their line up this week.
Some chatter that Joe Roberts will get one of the slots at Trackhouse which to me, makes sense given it will appeal to existing or potential US sponsors which will only help the team establish.

Of course, this means little for Miller and as unpalatable as it may be, I do think he has been helped at times by his nationality (and I say this as an Aussie) as DORNA and others know the importance of Aussie representation come Phillip Island. While sadly I feel we may be close to seening the end of Jack in MGP, he is said to have some opportunities but the doors do keep closing so he may need to swallow some pride of simply drift to another challenge.

Edited. Changed 'appear' to 'appeal' in first sentence

Seems a reasonable assessment of Morbidelli and suggests he will be on a last year bike at VR46 next year

We shall see if he continues the performance improvement we have seen in the last few races and to do that he will need to learn how to save tyres on a Ducati, perhaps that is coming?
I think that VR46 is a good opportunity for Morbidelli. And he now has plenty of time to continue to master the GP24.

Fernandes staying at Trackhouse and Joe Roberts going there is good for both riders, I think.

Miller is perhaps the person losing out, but as I've said before he has had a good shake of the stick. TBH, I wouldn't be too surprised if he ends up a test rider with occasional wildcard rides. I'd like to see him in the MotoGP field, but the number of seats isn't increasing, and I would like to see new blood too.

I'm not convinced by Tony Arbolino. He was good last year taking the challenge to Acosta, but has definitely faded this year. That may be due tyre changes, but I think there are hotter prospects in Moto2 this year. Several of whom are racing for a team with 'helmets' in the team name.

I'm pleased for the lad. The KTM saga messed with a young head. He needed time to overcome that, and has shown his abilities this season.

Him, Acosta, Aldeguer, them will be the lads pushing the likes of Bagnaia, Martin and Marquez into (semi)retirement in three, four years time.

This seems to be the talking points with Tony…he doesn’t get on with the Pirellis. Truth be told, he faded last year.

Also, Freddie Spencer has set the bar so low, a baby Chihuahua could walk over it with ease.

You underestimate Chihuahua's and assume that they would think of walking over the bar when in reality they will just bark at it incessantly and act all tough. The epitome of an annoying bark worse than bite.

:D
