Vinales is my favourite rider. But after the last race I took him out of my gold fantasy team and relegated him to my silver. I put him back in my gold team just before qualifying today. He’s got me some points for pole but whether he can do anything in the race, previous results aren’t encouraging!

This would have to be Rossi's best chance for a win in a very long time. He should have the pace in race trim. What an unbelievable turn around for the Yamaha's. Simply unbelievable.

Well done Morbi, Bags and Blue Rinse. A fair amount of passing - in the second half on a tight track where passing is hard, making for some inspired passing. Can't remember the last time Fabio crashed in a race. Bummer. Wondering what's transpired at Yamaha and KTM between today and the last race that so radically changed their respective performances. Curious as to what Yamaha's mapping strategies are, in light of their need to make the engines last till end of season. Hondas looking worse week by week.

Only one Suzuki too tentative today. Rins proves again he can’t pass on the limit in the dry.
Mav, the one lap wonder, at a loss again. No explanation, no direction. I think his analysis skills are lacking, if he cannot understand what is happening with his bike, how can he communicate to the team what to do?
Fabio looked kind of silly saying that you could only win at this track from pole position, considering that his teammate did win not from pole. (I think he said that, I couldn’t be bothered to review.) All three people I really want to like not delivering today, such is life as a modern racing spectator.
Oh yes, not to forget, “what a great shame” vr just missing out on a “win“ once again....

Remember when there was a special parc ferme for CRT teams, and it was referred to as the Mundialito? Time to reinstate it, but this time with the top three riders over the age of 35. It would bring in new sponsorship money like Geritol, Depends and Metamucil.

It must be because he taught them all exactly how to ride and win. After all, they are "HIS" riders, as you say.

Morbidelli in park ferme interview reminded me of an understated Dovi rather than the more flashy Italians. I’m biased sure but I liked that, especially for a first win and I’m already a fan. I don’t care who brought him through, it’s his earned success for the hard work he says he put in post last season.
Rossi, he was once the undisputed fastest gun in the west. He could have gone out the fastest gun. I don’t get the current motivation. If he had of gone to SBK and won 2 more I’m sure everyone would be calling him 11 times, I think the opportunity which he was once so great at seizing is now passing him by.
Now in saying that the way this season is going he has a decent shot in making it 10.

Absolutely, all the young chargers are liable to crash which he isn’t, and Vinales is just too inconsistent both within and between races.
Valentino can certainly justify being on the grid this year, he is only diminished in comparison with his former self rather than the current field. I still don’t know why he would want to trundle around in 4th or 5th and vie for the occasional podium after his past glory, but if he wins the 10th this year he will have the last laugh on you, me and many others.
I wouldn’t begrudge vr another title, as long as he can win it fair and square. That is, without running others off the road and/or applying all the other sordid dirty tricks he has used in the past.
