That was one impressive win from Scot Redding...I am very much a growing fan of this dark horse rider....

Kudos to him...

I knew when I saw him at Brands a couple of years ago at a club meeting that he was special but not this special.

He is the future of British motorsport. .... Toseland, .... Hamilton. Scott Redding is our hero.

A trifle harsh perhaps

Well people are harsh about some of the riders I support so I don't really care anymore.

Well maybe not the .... Toseland bit (he has done the best he could with the hand he has been dealt lol) but I quite agree.

Scott Redding is certainly something else again...........ad he is sooo ickle.

Scott Redding rode so maturely, he pushed Innone until he made a mistake and in only 8 races has acheived history. I bet Bradley is gutted.

what a frantic 125 race! another 5 lap epic sprint to the finish! brilliant stuff. good to see bautista take the victory he looked like i figured him for the whole season. i would have liked to see luthi take his 1st win but alvaro was just to good!

125cc 5 lap dash was insane, feel for Bradders as he had the race won before it started raining.

Finally Alvaro claims another victory and doesn't fall off/get knocked off/get pushed wide/runs wide out of the lead, great ride by Luthi aswell for 2nd.

125cc was an incredible race, Brad was about to come under all the pressure Terrol could find, but when it started to rain the result was innevitable as i watched him hit the deck and started yelling for red flags. The re-started race was manic, i was fooled into thinking Rabbat had it, but was thrilled for Talma to finally start winning this year. The championship lead has closed slightly but not significantly. Smith's win will come to him soon, i'm sure of it.

250cc was another great race, i was in the Luthi camp 100% but it was nice to see Bautista finally manage to put a race together properley while Luthi got a career best. Simoncelli was entertaining in his battle back from a poor first lap, which resulted in the championship lead being all but wiped out. Kallio had a pretty mediocre day, and needs to find some pace shortly. Barbera was wild as usual (thank god for tarmac run-off), but i feel Debon would have done better without having to deal with Hector.

I missed the 125cc due to traffic
<

I did hear them give live commentary on the radio when I was in the car, so I heared Smith was leading the race. I was really excited when I heared that, but then he crashed!!
<

I did see the 250cc! It was a nice race. I really enjoyed that one. I was a bit disappointed with Kallio's performance. He had a good start, and at some point he was 3rd or 4th I think, but then he fell back and finished 7th!!! I wanted him to win, but he didn't have a chance. Bautista did a great job and he was the deserved winner!
<

Bradley was unlucky but still an exciting sprint to the end, Talmachi is that guy ever going to move up a class? Wonder why Redding was out of the 5 lapper?

Bautista at last converts a pole to win, Luthi was a trifle unlucky and sideshow Bob showed that he is a contender coming in 3rd after a dodgy start.

He's a little gem that lad, I can see a bright future... bradley smith has got plenty of competition there.

Just a quick update on Kallio for those who are interested and to educate Tom and franco.

Did you not notice on the on board camera around lap 5 where there was already rubber flying off of Kallio's rear tyre? He got a dud from Dunlop as reported on motogp.com live feed and of course on the finnish television coverage. I think we would have seen at least 4th otherwise. But then i'm biased
<

Kallio had a huge off testing in Brno yesterday. Was rushed to hospital but no serious injuries. Some torn...

...muscles, well 3 to be exact, or something - my biological finnish is understandably not too hot. Clinica mobile now treating him - should race next round.
