the 125 race was it's usual excellent mad frenzy! brilliant to the end. excellent race by corsi for the win just waited for the rght time & went for it. lots o slicin & dicin!

the 250 race was very interesting. the RACING INCIDENT between simoncelli & barbera was unfortunate but thats RACING! bautista is turning into a bit of a crasher. he had things under controll early & just chucked it away. whats up with this kid? hes not gonna win the 250 crown this season. glad to see luthi finally get his 1st 250 podium. good solid race from debon. kallio with a clutchless bike did great to finish were he did... a championship ride. not pasinis weekend.

Yeah, perfectly timed 'stream and a very measured calculated race for a well deserved win. Bradley demonstrating why you really don't want to lead out of Bucini. Everyone did well to avoid a lobotomised Ianone early on.

250 - Hector had the race from Simonceli, but only on straight line grunt. Marco shouldn't have been weaving on the penultimate lap though.

I've always thought weaving was potentially very dangerous and my theory has been proved today.

Ok Marco shouldn't be disqualified but i've seen people get disqualified for less e.g. Tamada at Motegi in 03.

I think Barbera made it very clear to Simonceli that he had the pace on the straight and he should have been expecting Simonceli to be blocking like mad.

Of course it dangerous so is everything else that happens on track and its called blocking!!

Yeah, but Hector's not very good at reading situations 'cause he's a bit challenged in the old IQ department. He's always shown the race craft and awareness of an amoeba, whilst Marco just seem to magnetise these on track calamities whether they're his fault or not.

A poor standard to judge other incidents on as this is a famously heavy handed reaction and doesn not represent the usual standard.

It was a nasty incident, and could have been potentially a lot worse for Hector seeing as there is a concrete wall there. Glad he is ok though. Would have been a great last lap battle between him and Marco if it didn't happen.

125cc race was incredible and easily the best race of the year so far. Both Corsi and Di Meglio showed some authority as front runners and look to be the champiosnhip favorites for sure. Plenty of wild and exciting moves coming from Iannone and Terrol (as usual). Pol Espargaros results seem to be picking up now, which is good for him as he heads home. Smith rode a very strong race, but broke to the lead a lap early unfortunately. Did well to mix it up with the leaders even with injuries.

250cc race was less exciting, but no less dramatic. It was great to see Simoncelli finally winning at home, he really has turned it around this year and looks to be a solid performer. Kallio and Pasini both did well to be consistent and stayed in control, its not coincidence they lead the championship. Barbera was looking his usual fast and erratic self but i think he would have passed Marco to the line had it not been for that unfortunate incident, I feel both riders should be spoken to about their antics. Debon rode an almost invisible race and it was nice to see Luthi finally getting on a 250cc podium, i hope he can bring it home near the front more often in future.

Again i have to wonder what on earth Bautista is doing. He has definitely thrown away all his chances at the world championship, but more worryingly he is starting to appear as crasher who I honestly don't imagine is going to be ready for motogp anytime soon. He was easily favorite this year and is obviously very fast, but his performance has been nothing but a let down.

Completely, though I think Barbera had it on grunt. That concrete wall looked ugly a few years ago as well, when Nakano had his blow out.

I don't think its fair to put a blame on either rider in the 250 race, you have to expect Simoncelli to try defend his lead. Another point could be that for the last 5 laps prior to the incident, barbera roared past Marco on the opposite side. So maybe Sic didn't expect Barbera to be going down that side? Either way no one should be punished, weaving happens all the time and normally without incident, it would be unfair to DQ Marco just for been the unfortunate one who finally caused an accident.

Shame to see Bradley end up 5th after starting the last lap 1st

125 is pretty tight at the sharp end, good to see Redding in touch with 7th so far..

Well he finished 6th after a couple of crashers, well done to Di Meglio.

250 All I can say is that Bautista threw this away on the last lap, Simonceli has twice now picked up a win due to other riders errors and crashes, but to be fair he has been at the sharp end for most races.

despite a huge disadvantage on the straights. I like the way he push hard out of the corners enabling him to stay in the draft, never giving up and forcing errors on the other riders. Reminds me of another Italian.

I really thought this season would be easy for Bautista since the guys who beat him last season moved up.

Hes throwing it away.

oh Alvaro

funny how Mika run onto that... what's it called... thing, didn't expect it at all.

Redding is my new favorite.

Toby and Julian said that Simoncelli got

for accident with Barbera.

Is it possible that a Brit can actually win his home GP? The place will go ...... nuts if Redding wins!!

Gonna be my first and last post for a while, but I can't describe how proud I am of Scott Redding.

Here's to a hopefully great career for the rookie.
