Solid performance, VERY impressive.

Corsi looks like the mature and consistent man so far this year, he will be tough to stop if the others don't get strong finishes in

he's my pic for champ this year. it's still way early but like you say tom, his races so far this season, he's looked very patient, level headed & mature in his approach. very fast too.

he really screwed up his start. was 13th at the end of the 1st lap. i thought a good finish was out of the question but man he fought his way thruogh brilliantly! some great battles going on for 4th. webb, bradl & di meglio.

Yea i thought this was pretty cool too. I hope its not a one off.

It was great to see Talma back on the podium today and hopefully kicking off his championship challenge. Smith was disappointing again, he seems to be taking to the Pasini job way too well.

250cc race was great, Kallio is putting together an excellent string of results that will make a serious championship run, Bautista is not. He can't really afford to keep giving points away like this but we know hes the quickest to i still believe wins are coming. Takahashi was great today, its nice to see him back where he belongs after the nightmare of last year.

125: Hats off to Iannone for taking his first GP victory in a wet chinese race. Bradley looked devastated after he crashed out on lap 7. I turned my attention to 15 YO Scott Redding who had moved up to around 14th and was battling hard with the repsol bikes before retiring a few laps from the end.

250: Good early battle between Bautista, Simoncelli and Barbera before Bautisita lost it. Kallio took the lead and rode a faultless race. Well done to the KTM team, Takahashi was very unlucky to lose 3rd spot to Pasini, as we saw him park his bike against the pit wall before jumping over.

Does anyone else watch these races???

125 was brilliant today, before the stopage i was thinking probably the best race of the season so far, and it was shaping up to get better. The eventual sprint to the end was tense, massive disaster (his fault this time) for Talma, he needs to start finishing more. It was nice to see Di Meglio take the home win and i think he is a very real championship contender after Corsi was didn't get the result he needed. I think Smith could get back into contention for the title if he keeps on his wheels. Podiums are what he needs.

250 was a massive runaway, but was an excellent demonstration for Debon as its about time he got the results the team is capable of. I wonder if he might have been running the traction cotnrol system that motogp.com reported he used in qualifying. Takahashi has been one of the biggest surprises of the season for me, doing the Doviziozo job very well. I think his loyalty to Honda might pay off as he looks to be the best up-and-comming Japanese rider (Compared to Aoyama and Kiyo). Pasini is looking like the most real title contender to the consistent and always front running Kallio, but Simoncelli seems to have turned into a real front runner.

What the hell is going on with Bautista?? I know not all of his problems have been his fault this year but he is performing worse than last season, and the leaders are getting away from him big time. Sor far he is the biggest disappointment accross all three classes.

Shame it rained in 125cc as it was going to be a great 9 bike battle but still a great race and nice to see Bradley on the podium.

250cc was a bit dissapointing with the race quality but Debon was on fire. It was a shame Takahashi didn't get a podium after a great ride but 4th was still very good and its nice to see the Pog up there again. What the hell happened to Bautista?

I think he's probably aware that's the general idea Tom. Anyway, it's funny watching the reaction of his ridiculous manager...anyone speak Hungarian?

Buatista will be back at Mugello. It's a bit early to say he's a major disappointment this year. He was in another league again at Estoril, his crank let go at Jerez, (wasn't he on the rostrum at Qatar?), admittedly the last two races were .... for him. He loves Mugello, although he won't have Jorge to knock off this year

How long has Debon been around. Was this his maiden win? - he's only 32 and he looks 132!

Almost forgot about that!! I loved it. He looked in control the whole time hanging with the facotry guys. I know this was a mixed up race, but a few more shows like that could see him moving into a better team next season. Top privateer this season would probably do the trick as he already has the name and pedigree to sell himself with.

Talmas manager is indeed hilarious!!

Perhaps i expected too much from Bautista this season, but as everyone ahead of him last year has moved on i thought he'd be the man to beat. I also thought his slightly erratic style mistakes were a rookie trait that he would iron out. Unfortunately he has carried them over while other riders are doing better. There is no doubt however that he is fast, and Mugello should be good for him, and it needs to be really, podium minimum.

Debon has been around for ages, over a 100gp's i think. He took a year or two out of riding and now has returned with facotry equipment. He doesn't look young does he

Congrats to DiMeglio for his home win, he's good on wet surface, the Vermy of 125cc and being at home it was gonna be a win or bust for him. Still I don't see him as champion, too inconsistent.

Debón was amazing, I've seen him riding quick many times, but he used to bin it when he was about to win. I´m glad he got this win, this guy has been doing a great job on ...... private bikes for years and finally when he gets an official bike he proves he can win. It's a pity he is towards the end of his career.

Kallio and Passini seem the most consistent riders, Bautista was crap on wet, he needs to improve or a really sunny season if he wants to win this championship!
