Says the meth dealer, merchant of death.

^^^ Conflating the qualities of a real live person with an avatar image has to be the world's most insipid debating gambit. Just the sort of thing one would expect from a middle aged codger who uses the image of washed up syphilitic rockstar drug addicts for an avatar. All those years of listening to pop metal have made you so socially tone deaf that you can't recognize how low you have sunk by throwing all your high ethical standards to the winds for the sake of acceptance by ithyphallic juveniles who flatter themselves the forum elite.

What you pick as an avatar can say a lot about a person or their personal interests. You chose one of a fictional meth dealer who was ultimately a piece of .... that made a product that ruins lives wholesale.

Regarding the Led Zeppelin, they were not pop metal. They were blues based rock and roll. So already you have no idea what you are talking about...as usual. They were the biggest rock and roll band on the planet at one point. Pop metal? Please, all that meth has fried your brain. What's wonderful about Zeppelin is how relevant their music still is. It hasn't aged a day and it's been almost 50 years since they first performed.

Enjoy what real music is Lil Wally. Learn what greatness is.

And of course, you are the well established arbiter of who does and doesn't matter. It's well established by way of peer review, your peers being a who's who of boppers. Isn't that right?

No. Name one racer of any repute who thinks MM wasn't at fault.

MM himself admitted he was at fault.

I'll give you that they were really heavy in their day, to 14 year old boys.
I was a big fan at one time. But to say they're still relevant in this day and age is a stretch.

But more to the point, you selected for your avatar a handful of guys known for oversized egos and their bickering and infighting. Makes sense.

Also, known for ....... an endless chain of 14 year old girls, many of whom ended up strung out out on heroin and ludes. Right?

See.... I can play that game too.

BTW - my avatar is a fictional protagonist in a morality play. Yours were drug addled molesters of actual small children.

As much as I love Led Zepplin, they certainly don't have any moral ground over Walter White. There's live shows on YouTube where Jimmy Page is so high you have to wonder if he even knows what year he is in. They were and probably still are very flawed, arguably illmoraled, virtuosos.

Lil Wally shoots.....and REJECTED!

They are still relevant. The most recent Thor movie used the Immigrant Song, and as soon as people heard it, guess what? It climbed up the bestseller list.

Every top drummer generally cites John Bonham as a major influence on them. So again Wally is rejected. I should add the NBA Jam announcer's voice clip of it.

Can you provide me with the link that says they ran through 14 year old girls and hooked them on drugs? Also don't cite that piece of trash book Hammer of the Gods please.

As for relevancy, when they held their O2 Reunion Concert in December of 2007, the demand was so great they had to hold a lottery for the tickets. And in the crowd were thousands of young people who came to see them play. REJECTED!

Don't hate Wally, you're a mindless drone who just floats around and has nothing of value to add to this site. Enjoy pimping out the avatar of a meth cooker and dealer. If you were serious about the morality play aspect, you'd have a big X over his face. Your name is Little Walter...you are all about Walter White and probably cheered him on because you thought he was just a man doing what he had to do. DURR DURR

I have dozens of bootlegs and his playing was always good even during the heroin phase of his life. He cleaned up his life big time and came back from an addiction most people don't. I know plenty of people who went to their concerts in 1977 which was during that phase, and they said the shows were electric and Page was outstanding for the 3 hours they played.

You were wrong dub. This has got to be the dumbest thing ever written on the internet.

Walter would like you to change your Avi to his musical hero

I remember your old Avi. It was a photo of singularly grumpy looking old fart with a 1920's style pencil mustache. Too close to home?

Zep is relevant as nostalgia. About it. Louis Armstrong's music is used in thousands of soundtracks and gets more regular radio play. Doesn't make him "relevant". By your standards Beethoven is relevant.

You don't have the luxury of discounting Hammer Of The Gods. If the stories weren't true, lawsuits would have ensued.

As to Bonham, he was an okay drummer but no modern drummer looks up to him as a giant anymore than they do Kieth Moon. They were more well known for their partying and hotel destruction than they were for their drumming. You're still living in the '60s.

Relevancy for musicians is not based on sentimental baby boomer nostalgia for the good old days. It's based on ability to evolve and create contemporary work, not playing oldies concerts, and revival shows playing the old top 40 hits.

This thread was talking about race related topics until you jumped in making silly comments equating me with an avatar image, and then doubling down insisting on the pretense that you earnestly believe these flimsy accusations. You're the one who derailed it. If you don't want to talk about anything other than racing,
then don't.

Relevant. Nostalgia. Louis Armstrong, Beethoven, Led Zeppelin. Can you spot the difference? Lil Whittaker cannot. Jk, we have a new dumbest comment.
