I'll politely point out you have only been here a few years according to your joined date. Unless of course you are a reincarnate.

Haha, Danski is a sockpuppet Barbs. No really, he is, but not his fault buddy. Think of it as a result of owner Duc's ongoing and consistent management of this forum.

I'm actually a bot invented by Roger to keep tabs on things.
I was here in 06 though, forgot login details so created new profile.

You are mistaken in thinking this is about a specific event.
Keshav is an ....... to people every day. I don’t need to look back 10 years for a reason to hate him, when I can just look at yesterday and the day before.

What’s weird is how fiercely you keep defending him. Have you noticed your the only person who personally defends another member

Not so. Not even vaguely true. No more true than your disinformation about my racing posts. You just can't get it right. Can you?

I've not noticed him harassing me, but then maybe he doesn't, just has a go at those who have a go at him and to be honest as they say "All is fair in love and war".

Has it occurred to you that maybe he enjoys seeing the snide remarks.

Better yet, why don't the bunch of you stop being ..... for a week see what happens? Already this morning Synn has while unprovoked gone back to insulting MikeM. But Kesh and Baz are the problem?
The problem is these guys take criticism of Rossi as a personal insult.

I knew what I was doing, and was simply tired of differing standards of evidence being applied where Rossi is concerned as opposed to other riders, and different standards being applied to the posts of the member concerned, not least by himself.

Mike, you may have missed the 'false point' being made though, and in so doing I think you've dignified it. The point being attempted, rather weakly; is to misdirect us from the actual "trolling" culprits. The misdirection is to label Synn a 'troll' because he is 'debating' ( inherently an adversarial activity) TO falsely clear Kesh & BM's activities as 'non-trolling', which is false. 'Look everyone, Synn is being contentious, therefore Kesh &BM are not trolls'--FALSE! I'd like to point out, you and synn were actually debating 'racing" regardless of how contentious, as we all do. Our effectiveness or lack thereof during debate is relevant. To label debate as trolling is a false equivalent. Insomuch as the false point made, it should be contrasted with conjuring wild theories regarding Synn's identity as cover to attack and make provocative accusations, which IS TROLLING! See the difference? I'm sure you do, I'm pointing it out not for your benefit.

Sure, my adamant view continues to be that Roger is completely irrelevant to Synn, which I actually considered including in the post to which you replied, but saw no point in adding further to that continuing debate particularly since I was the first person to say Roger had been gone for 10 years and should he left out of it, which I did immediately if you recall.

I think I am entitled to tire of schoolboy insults from Synn however, the employment of same providing further evidence he is not Roger btw, not that I find being called Mitchell deeply wounding.

Just wanted to clarify, as I refuse to accept false equivalence being made in this case, or for it to be dignified by a person such as you.

Regarding contentious discussion, i don't think it's necessary or effective to use obtuse quips or inflammatory language during reasonable debate as Synn has employed, particularly because he seems fairly informed, such quips often only derail the discussion. Though let's be frank, we all do it, doesn't make it right of course. I'm reminded of the way a recent race thread started where Furiosa called for holstering inflammatory language, then a few posts later she engaged in it. Not to drag her into the discussion, but my point is even the best of us i.e. Furiosa lose our cool, though again we all do it, some of us more so than others, rightly or wrongly. BM and Kesh are not unique in this regard, nor is Synn, or others, often rationalized as banter; but if we're going to single out Synn then I'm going to point out the double standard from those in particular. You may or may not have noticed, it's there for you to examine if you care to check (though at this point I think it's abundantly obvious to you) but I find it fascinating that the poster you responded to was sussed out by Albert Tatlock (something I had long noticed myself) paraphrasing, it seems his only function on the forum is to act as Keshav's defense strategist). Anyway Mike, as I said I felt compelled given you replied to a post that certainly doesn’t merit to be taken seriously especially because the misdirection, besides being inept, is a fallacy.

I still bit my tongue and/or keyboard to some extent but last night I tired a little of being called unintelligent by someone I possibly have 50 IQ points on.

I agree Synn has quite good knowledge of the sport, and is capable of valuable discussion of the sport if both parties stay away from their hobby horses, and that I have my own hobby horses was partly the point of the post which prompted your first reply, and I was admitting to some mild trolling of my own, whilst still not arguing other than my genuine views which I pretty much always do in the circumstance. If he wishes to decry posters on here for having buttons which are easily pushed, his own are laughably easy to push, all that is required being any criticism of anything to do with Rossi, apparently extending to criticism of Uccio.

I was reading it as it developed. I think you summed it up with: we're going to believe what we're going to believe.

I said this after the Argentine debacle, the symmetry of all the details to past parallel incidents is wonderful, and equally fascinating that even with this mirror like correspondence it is possible to arrive at such an incongruous conclusion.

It's almost like looking in the mirror and seeing an upside-down image.

Edit: to add, as I read the argument develope, including the exchanges with RG500gamma, it occurred to me sometimes it just not worth it. Take for example this one assertion, 'Marc got dragged into the Yamaha box with 2 HRC coworkers in tow, therefore insincerity', ok, let's apply this standard: as a point in fact VR was accompanied by 3 coworkers at the Jerez apology parallel incident. 3 greater than 2, whatcha gonna do? I had a buddy that would say when he recognized carrying on was futile: "2 tears in a bucket, mothafuck-it"
