I don't believe Honda would take Lorenzo and I don't think he'd want to go.

Of course he blocked Zarco though. Zarco even said it in the interview to which you referred, which perhaps you didn’t read.
As Zarco said, Yamaha has Vinales and Rossi signed to the factory seats. Zarco would probably be a better choice than either of them imo, but certainly in terms of contention for the title currently and going forward I would pick a 26 year old Zarco over a 39 year old Rossi, who would seem to be in the seat for ceremonial purposes, any day. I also think Rossi being the main focus of the Yamaha factory team as seems to be the case hampers their other existing rider.
Rossi has also blocked him from being on a satellite Yamaha bike, given the owner of his current team felt impelled to change his bike supplier having been informed VR46 was taking over as the Yamaha satellite team in 2 years.
As for Lorenzo being blocked at HRC, this report would seem to have pretty much the same status as the report of Yamaha disapproving of Uccio’s actions/words in Rossi’s garage post the Argentinian race which you so decried. I am inclined to believe it however. If MM fears the competition from Lorenzo then he is once again emulating Rossi and I don’t approve of such an attitude. Like Jumkie I would be inclined to think it is more likely to be Alzamora, who has previous form. It is also a different situation than Yamaha, HRC don’t need Lorenzo to win races and titles, they have a 25 year old in his prime MM who has won 4 of the last 5 titles including the last 2, and is pretty much the favourite for every race when they line up on the grid. I also think what was said in the article is true, that it would split development at HRC as Lorenzo’s riding style and bikes which suit it are very different than MM’s.

Zarco said he doesn’t think Rossi blocked him. He did not say Rossi didn’t block me. The guy who was negotiating to land him a Yamaha ride is the one who said Rossi blocked Johan at every corner from getting a factory Yamaha. To this date I have not seen Zarco refute that statement except to say “ I don’t think so”
