Kick a cat once... it's getting old. Has this trend continued into GP, no. Only killing the competition, and doing a mighty fine job at that.

Impressive yes. But not actually uncommon. Then again, perspective is a higher order thought process, apparently not possesed by u or Pov. Then again, given u agree with Elitemuffin's take that Wilairot bears some of the blame, I understand the level u perceive the sport buddy.

Its not what I perceive, its that some of us actually like watching the racing and then discussing it without having to find a conspiracy, fix or try and pull every rider apart just because we don't like them, I understand its not perfect at the moment but if its all fixed and you don't like the riders or the bikes why do you watch it.

As the commentators mentioned, the Honda guys have stated that there is no way the bike is 0.5sec quicker per year, so beating it by that much shows he is faster than Stoner.

Qualifying reflects a rider's/team's ability to set up the bike for unlimited fuel consumption (effectively). It's fun to watch, and Marquez is definitely willing to push himself and the bike further than the other teams, but it's still worth 0 points. Marquez is charging windmills to cover himself in glory, while the other competitors are interested in making clean starts from the front row.

I don't see how you disagree so strongly regarding the Wilairot incident... He was on the racing line going half the speed of Marquez, and Marquez was fully in control. You don't .... around on the racing line. You go race pace on the racing line. That's why it's called the racing line. Get off the damn line, Wilairot and you won't be rear ended by a guy with way more skill than you.

Its a great accomplishment, no doubt. A bit of perspective though if I may (I know, the deal et al will read the following as 'hating, its fixed, spain'), don't know what you will think. Perspective, a higher order form of thought. Stoner's lap record was done on the 800, we are talking 2 years ago (not one as you say above), and remember we are now on 1000s. I'm laughing because the clowns (elite, deal, pov) have been tickling their few brain cells about extra ccs, where as here, it actually is a fact, he did it with more ccs. Not only that, but the tire development has advanced for 2 years as well. Most sane and informed observers of the series accept that the works HRC has become the dominant kit, and is much improved even from just a year ago. Now lets look at the other side of this coin, Marc is a rookie, so his pole lap is amazing given this fact. (Btw, I don't take too much stock in him beating Pedro, as I think he is overrated. Beating him on the same kit simply reenforces my belief he isn't as good as most think). Lorenzo, who had trouble with the new gearbox it appears, was 3 tenth off from Stoner's lap of 2 years ago, so not bad right. But consider this, Lorenzo was not even able to better his lap time of 2 years ago, so make of it what you will. So all things considered, its amazing pole lap. But its not like he did it on a vespa. Either way, that's the perspective of it. For me, the take away is that he is beating veterans, regardless. And his willingness to let the bike move under him is spectacular.
