it's better than that werewolf-look he had a couple of years a go. it's like they want to say 'hey, we're not really teammate cause our tyre-choice is seperating our boxes, but LOOK! we have the same hairdresser!!'
yeah well lets hope we get the 03 riding magic back also
makes him look younger, i used to like it when he did mad things with his hair, added a bit of fun to the sport.

Personally I like the new hair do. Looks like Rossi and his mini-me Lorentho went to boot camp and are ready for war. (BTW, as far as the hair thing, Anthony West could benefit from a hair cut, eh.)

Hes not as bad as i thought... he gave Rossi some big comments and wants to get along.

Oh sure, Lorenzo understand the value of marketing, but most of all he know how to intimidate his competition. While your hardest competitor is allways your team-mate, he is not among the usual competition in that regard. You want to beat your team mate more than any one, but to use the usual intimidation tricks on him would be considered bad sportsmanship and counter productive.
So when he is the #2 rider in a team for the first time in years he looks like a different person than the "normal" big headed lunatic, that I suspect is more than anything just a display.

Good points except I think they are both number 1. Lorentho #1 for Yamaha-Michelin shod and Rossi #1 Yamaha-Bridgstone shod.

Hey Neil, I'm not so sure buddy. As much as I wish my dislike for Lorentho could make him magically slow, the guy did very well on those first tests.

but tests and racing are 2 totally different things. i think lorenzo is no threat this season. he will find his pace and come to his own in 09 i think.

Personally, I would not want to see him ever come into his own, just so he can learn some humility, and even though you’re right in that test don't win races, he is certainly in the top of the riders. The 800s suit these 250 guys, and I think many of us will not be so surprised when these jockeys are battling at the front.
