The Eurosport crew said during the broadcast that teams like Aprilia and BMW have full dedicated test teams for their machines. They don't race in GP so they probably have the funding to run an amazing WSBK outfit.
I heard that as well. BMW have certainly improved, no offense to Corser, the guy is doing great, but he is missing that little "push it" factor to have gotten the win. At least the BMW didn't fade at the halfway point this time so things are looking better. I don't know why Suzuki couldn't give more help for Haslam, they obviously aren't putting any money into GP. This year is one of their worst yet in GP. I'm kinda pulling for Biaggi to win the championship, he's been hard working in WSBK for some time now, he certainly is on a roll and has an amazing bike and team that has gelled with him perfectly. Watching him ride the small Aprilia, and with his smooth style, he looks just like a 250 rider out there.
What's going on with Honda, they decide to skip the testing at Misano (money reasons?) and it certainly showed, Rea had a terrible weekend. Neukirchner is now officially in the lost cause category, guy was great before all those accidents.
Both races were pretty exciting for the bulk of the race. Eurosport did a good job covering the various battles. The exception being following Biaggi on his entire last lap of race 2, even though Crutchlow and Fabio were having a good scrap (granted it was an Italian at an Italian track). Not sure how the Speed channel coverage was. I missed having Burnicle and Whitham, I suppose they were off commentating at BSB. Their replacement Rymer? was terrible to listen to, the ex Brit racer wasn't too bad though.
WSS, although not being it's usual excitement this year, has a really close championship at this point.
