Sorry if there's another topic for this.. i looked a few pages through and couldn't find one.. so here we go..

Spoilers below if you haven't watched last week's yet..

Man, This season just got a lot more interesting. After this last weekend in France, Loeb and Hirvonen are even in the points, and Ogier is only 3 points behind them after Loeb had an engine failure early on, and Petter Solberg was disqualified from a podium for being 4kilos underweight, in post race inspections..

This season's been good, but Loeb and Ogier have dominated with a few bursts of speed from the Ford guys, but with a few misfortunes blemishing Loeb's nearly perfect season.. now Hirvonen and Ogier are really in the hunt.. I can't wait for Spain next week.. 2 rounds left.. and every point will count..

On a side note, I love the new powerstage setup they have, where the last stage they run is worth points on top of whatever you get for the entire rally,.. it will definitely decide some fates.. and I love to see these guys really hang it all out for one stage regardless of their performance over the rally..

Also.. how about Dani Sordo and Mini? what a run.. 2nd place this last weekend and he was within 10 seconds or leading the rally for most of the 3 days.. good job to him.. and look forward to seeing another manufacturer being a possible winner..

For sure its been a great season for the WRC. With Mini committing to a full season next year, and the year after that, Volkswagen are joining too. Its going to be interesting where Ogier goes next year, rumors are that he'll do a switch with Hirvonen and go to Ford.

Ahh i didn't know it was that bad with Ogier.. I knew he was miffed about the team orders business.. I hope if he's about to win the next round they don't pull some BS with him being so close to the title.. don't particularly like the guy, but that'd be something if he won..

Also heard about the volkswagen thing..

Ya know, I didn't watch for a few years and when I came back.. peugeot was gone, subaru.. mitsubishi.. gone.. what the hell.. citroen and ford? lol really miss the competition.. but the top five (and now sordo apparently) are always there to make it interesting.. so i keep watching.. this could turn out to be quite the year though..

2009 was my fave recently.. but this year is shaping up quite nicely towards the end
