What colours will ROSSI race in then?

Where is J4rno & Co.? Are you still gonna tell us how its business as usual and the Duc didn't change much? Hahaha, I called it the moment Rossi signed with Duc. They're gonna move heaven and earth, nothing will be spared, Nasa developed bike. All this for what? I thought Rossi could ride around minor problems. Oh wait, its a level playing field right? Isn't that what we've been told?

I don't think the Ducati has minor problems otherwise it would perform a lot better for all of the riders than it does. Stoner was unique and could ride around it. We don't actually know what Rossi could do without changing it as we will not get the opportunity to see due to the changes. Why the changes? For the reason that although Stoner was quick on it, he was inconsistent and that is probably for the most part down to the bike. So,even Stoner would have wanted to change the bike from what they had. He just made the best of a bad situation.

on topic, rossi should cut back on the yellow, only have the 46 yellow on the bike, below the knees should be black, make the sun/moon yellow (maybe the knee sliders as well), gloves as is, boots as is...can anyone do a mock up of that? lol

BRING ON SEPANG!!

To be honest I think yellow is a bad colour fullstop. I'm ok with the bike though. The leathers are a bit hard on the old eyes.

could have been a lot worse

Ducati Confirms Major Changes To Desmosedici GP11

Submitted by David Emmett on Wed, 2011-01-12 22:33. After Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden spoke to the press on Tuesday, Wednesday saw the turn of Ducati Corse boss Filippo Preziosi to talk to the press about the Desmosedici GP11 MotoGP bike, the influence that Rossi had had on the development direction, and the changes to be made. Summed up in a single word, those changes would best be described as radical: as reported yesterday, the new bike will have an altered forward subframe/airbox, modified triple clamps, revised swingarm and new 42mm forks, rather than the 48mm Ohlins used by all of the Ducatis (as well as the Yamahas and Hondas) except for Casey Stoner during 2010. The changes to the chassis are aimed at making the Desmosedici easier to turn, as well as providing improved feedback, and better feel for the rider, especially at extreme angles of lean.

More surprisingly, the engine has also undergone a major revision

Seems as if Casey is an axcellent development rider if Rossi and Burgess are following Casey,s lead in reverting to the 42mm forks.

Surely, this will put to bed yet another myth about Casey Stoner.

STONER- 1) Only won in 2007,not because he was talented, but because he had some sort of unique symbiosis with the Ducati.

2) Was only fast because of the superior electronics on the Ducati (seems he uses less than everybody else)

3) Was psyched out by Rossi, and his absence from racing in mid 2009 was in fact a deprture from the sport completely.

4) Can,t develop a bike.

Please, no more Stoner myths..............................all these 4 are now completely debunked.

Of course they were going to change it drastically. Who would want to ride the crap development that Stoner has done in all these years? And stop telling me they .... blocked Stoner this whole time..What team would do that to their no. 1 rider?

I think Ducati is finally happy to have someone on the team that can give them a clear direction.

If you bothered to do some research, it would be apparent that Ducati did not listen sufficiently to Stoner, but now that the goat is onboard , they will move heaven and earth to improve the bike. Funnily enough the GP11 is going to have the 42mm front forks Stoner recommended. seems Rossi/Burgess approve caseys development path.

No need for your belligerent tone. Reminds me of Mdubstylie, before Keshav castrated him with his teeth

Rossi needs to change that signature Yellow ASAP! It is a color nightmare! Ive always liked Ducati's fashion designs, like most italian Brands they know how to put out some sharp looking clothing, but Rossi's yellow monster hat with the green M on it does not match in any way, shape or form match to the Ducati Red. It looks like someone Vomited out his leathers. To Rossi it Doesn't matter because they're paying him enough money to go out looking like a walking Mcdonald's sign. I am sure that they're wont be a shortage of Fans runing around the track with the same awful yellow hat and Red Ducati jacket which is the sad part and I don't know how i am going to refrain myself from wanting to slap the .... out of them. I am sure the Designers tried as hard as they could to make a cool design with the colors , but god himself couldn't of made it work. and as much as I love english bulldogs, the 2 he has painted on the bike are not working aswell as they did on the Yamaha! Valentino is not looking good with Ducati (literally)

Sometimes I don't know if you just hate Rossi or u just don't like him, which one is it? NASA developed lol... It's ducati, the smallest company on the grid. How come you don't say the Honda/yamaha is NASA devoloped? Their deff a lot bigger with more money and tons of upgrades and changes on their bike? C'mon junkie.

And it was painful, keshav's teeth are sharp as a bowlling ball!

Maybe all Rossi/Burgess had to do was ask nicely. Maybe say please. Instead of Caseys style of pissing and moaning and kicking rocks.
<
Kidding.

They didn't change the frame though. The frame or lack of a frame is what seperates Ducati from all the rest. I think if they had gone back the the trellis or a more traditional frame, that would be moving heaven and earth. The changes while big aren't exactly earth shattering. Not as big a change as deleting the frame.

Look at it this way, last year they had TWO recent world champs and the best they could do in the standings was a fourth and seventh. You would hope they would want to make the bike better, just based on those results.

Not so much moving heavan and earth as re-aranging a forest and some mountains.

Having read quite a few of your posts over the last few months I don't actually believe you are this dogmatic, but you cetainly do put up a front.
