hmmmm.... i wonder if, the not quite fact yet, talk that kawasaki will be running a 3rd bike has anything to do with this?

Well they are the 2 bottom feeders of the grid as far as manufactures go so. You would think that they would step it up a bit. Kawasaki has the money to run any amount of bikes they want so I would have thought they would be doing this years ago.

They wouldn't want their factory bikes getting beat

Kawasaki motorcycles is the smallest of the big 4 Japanese motorbike manufacturers. Don't confuse them with Kawasaki heavy industry's. All company's are run as separate business's and they cannot look to the parent company for endless funding. can you imagine a Japanese board meeting where a smaller subsidiary company are asking for millions of probably non returnable bucks. if kawasaki want more money to build there race r&d operation then they have to sell more bikes.

I have to find the article then I will write you what I read about KHI and Kmotorcycles. They do get money from them from what I gathered from the article.

It would have to be one hell of a crazy race if Shinya won. I don't see him beating any of the top riders when they are on their game. But I have seen stranger things happen...none come to mind at the moment though
Elias winning? I suppose he's a bit more psycho/unpredictable though.
Unless Vermeulen doesn't sign or if he does we see another Suzuki team, then I don't see Spies in MotoGP next season.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>Although the door is open for both of Rizla Suzuki´s current riders, one thing that appears to have been ruled out is the appearance of a third bike for the team in 2009. Denning believes there may be a possibility of another GSV-R at their disposal after next season, but in the immediate future the factory can be expected to continue with their two-rider structure. http://www.motogp.com/en/news/2008/Capiros...ontract+renewal

CV will stay in GPs and probably with Suzuki...he's just holding out for some technical advancement schedules and more $$$....unless he is being talked into signing for Ducati's factory GP team...
