Valencia GP 2013, Season Finale: RACE (spoilers)

Its done, great job by Marc sitting not getting involved with Jorge.

Crazy first few laps from Lorenzo.

Well thats it. Congrats Marquez, deserved champ. Great ride by Lorenzo, strategy could have worked but could also have back fired.

Lorenzo like:

"hmm, i need marquez to be < 4th, let's slow down the pace so torpedoman or rossi have a chance"

"what pedro think he's doing ? LOL, stay behind, midget"

"damn, all these n00bs can't pass Marquez, .... it, let's leave those loosers".  And he flew away so far no one ever could see him again.

Pretty much lol

Great last race of the season. JL and DP keeping things exciting for the first half. Couldn't really see it finishing any other way. Although I was hoping the back-up strategy was going to go on longer.

Jorge can console himself with having the most race wins this season, and knowing that he's good enough to take the fight to Marc next year.

There's lots of what-if's during the season that could've changed the result, but both riders have those for and against them.

Fair play to Marky Mark. Job well done, congrats. Youngest ever world champion.

Interesting thing for me is that if Jorge wins this race with MM second, all  else being equal (I do realise it wouldn't have been) MM's last corner pass at Jerez will have decided the championship

Nope, actually the way the race ended today with Marquez in 3rd is the 4 point difference from Jerez

Congrats to MM on being the youngest champ of all time. I have nothing but respect for JL's season as well. The stage is already set for a man-to-man showdown next season. Can't wait!
