.....I hate motogp.com........

what a race, congrats stoner, nice to see barros showing some class again. shame things didnt go rossi's way this week.

I wanted Rossi to get the win here being as it's Istanbul's last time in MotoGP. I wonder what happened, he was looking strong all weekend and then started going backwards.

LMAO

Great race. Well done Stoner, had a feeling the Ducatis would dominate and so they did, bar Elias..........who mugged Rossi. Shame Rossi had a problem but, would have much rather seen more battles from him.

Gutted for Pedrosa, saw the interview with him prior to the race on BBC and just thought what a nice guy. And speaks good English too. Well deffo better than my Spanish lol.

Anyway, KRJR must get the prize for biggest loser, I mean finishing 40 seconds behind someone who crashed out, is quite an achievement
<

Well at least there is a two day test.

Agreed…

Am a bit sad cause wanted Rossi to break that track. Anyway, brilliant Bridgestones.

Congrats

Stoner (Complete control through all the race)
Elias (Very aggressive, good moves)
Capirossi (New father’s feelings, Ricardo’s and adopted Stoner and Elias)

& also Barros (hopefully he can do several races like this)

oooh rossi looked welll mad with elias in the garage as he described the overtaking manouvre! + he should be does elias hate him? how many times wil he have to apologise to rossi? fair enough he did run away after that but was it necessary to nearly knock rossi off baring in mind he has been instrumental in at least 2 of Rossi's problems last year?
Rossi ruined his tyres by chasing too hard whereas the others such as hayden and melandri bided their time he went for it from the word go + paid the price at the end.
I love the way they asked Hoffman what its like to pass Rossi its like asking someone what its like to pass someone with a broken leg in a marathon. Pleased Hayden + Melandri got some points, feel sorry for Edwards + Pedrosa who always seems to get pulled in2 accidents. Also, Bridgestones key element not necessarily just the Ducati.
Good luck to rossi for next race

fantastic race, this is why istanbul is one of my favourite tracks! the 125cc was amasing, 250 wasn't boring like usual, and the motogp was exciting
<
so sorry for dani/vermeulen/edwards/jacque to crash tho, would have been amasing if they would have crossed the finishline too after 22 laps.

and elias, he rides fantastic, the way he crunches of his bike and moves his ... from side to side is just amazing. stoner did a good job, he just rode like the devil was chasing him
<
and loris! man, he really had a good race, especially the last corner with the fight for 3th with barros (very good for dantin btw to end 4th) any news what happend to rossi tho, was it his front tyre??

my day can't get any better, although I did lost my bet with teo...

Wht happened to KRJR will happen again throughout the season to many riders, He a typical example of a team who picked the wrong tyres on thursday because of the new rules + ruined their race

Elias needs to apologize for nothing, the passes were hard, but fair.

hello he nearly knocked Rossi off

Its obviously nothng like that. Its more like asking someone what its like to pass someone who sprinted the first few miles trying to keep up and lost their energy. Plus Alex had a morning warmup crash and was in pain (struggling to breathe apparently) so its not like everything was going his way.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (46marijke69 @ Apr 22 2007, 02:17 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>250 wasn't boring like usual,

Which 250's have you been watching?

What a thrilling and overwealming race, i still don't know what to make of so many people having such good and such bad results. I love motogp.

Hayden best Michelin, its a start!!

Very Impressed with the way Vermulen finished considering he went down. He definately was a podium contender. I cannot believe how dumb a move Jacque pulled on Pedrosa which caused several key riders to lose their chances...

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Tom @ Apr 22 2007, 03:23 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Which 250's have you been watching?
well, normally I just can't bare to watch a 250 race as soon as lorenzo is up front and making a HUGE gap and making the entire race into a procession, so I normally go away when that happens
<
what a true motorsport fan I am huh
<

glad lorenzo had to fight for this race
<

Congrats to Casey!!!!!
<
He rode a very solid race and he wasn't in danger at all!! Now he's leading the championship again
<

Also very happy for Loris!! Nice to see him back in front again. I had a feeling he would do well here, and he did. For one moment I thought Alex would end on the podium (in the last lap), but great to see Loris getting back to 3rd position immediately.

Have to say Elias did a good job as well today, coming from 10th and finishing in 2nd place.

Too bad Rossi had a problem. What actually was the problem?? Was it the tyres?? Obviously I'd rather seen him on the podium, but next time better I guess..

Hayden did ok I think, but still not great. If it wasn't for the crash and Rossi's problem he would maybe not even be in the top 10. I really hope he will be on the podium..soon..
I'm sure Dani would have made things interesting in the top 3 if it wasn't for that unfortunate crash, it really wasn't his fault, and now he's 25 points behind Casey I think.

Anyway, was a nice race to watch, enough going on..can't wait for China!!

BLOODY HELL!!!! i can't believe we are going to lose this track!!! 3 fantastic races!!! stoner... again! what can u say he just kicked everybodys ...! toni elias i did'nt give him enough credit but man that was impressive racing! damn he is pure entertainment to watch! good to see capirossi back in form. now that he's got his head back around his racing. expect him to be back in the thick of it regularly. what a race for 3rd tho! man that was just brilliant stuff from barros, melandri, hopper & even hayden the only michelin rider in the top 8. hmmmm rossi what happened there? tires i'm sure, michelin really droped the the ball on this 1. damn shame about that jacque attack takin out pedrosa, edwards & cv. i think pedrosa would definetly made an impression on the outcome... oh well thats racin! brilliant stuff!!! bring on china! only 2 weeks instead of 4 this time!
<

That was a good race!
<

I was a bit down at the beggining when OJ knocked down Dani (and Colin and Vermuelen) and he was taken out on a stretcher. But Elías carving up the field was great, (now Rossi knows how Sete felt when he fought against him!
<
) the fight for third between Capi, Barros, Marco and Hopper was fun too!

though probably Hoffman overtaking Rossi was the highlight of the race for me!! What were the odds on that!!!

Kudos to Stoner, 3 races, 2 wins .... 0 crashes!!!

I think that Rossis plan was to get out at the front and run as smooth as possible to conserve his tire. When he had to work hard and scrap for places he ended up using it up way too early trying to keep up with the podium battle. But clearly Bridgestone had a better deal today so the problem he had got exploited big style.

apoligise!... please... i think not! it's not like rossi has'nt stuffed his fair share of riders in his day. good on elias!

Poor Rossi, heart bleeds.....didn't he stick a similar pass on Hopper not too long before Elias mugged him. ... for tat I think. Elias watched and learned from the master
