<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>I hate to be the bearer of good tidings but...BBC already shows 125 & 250 races on interactive &...it is the same feed with the same commentary as Motogp.com &...I believe they show the 800's on interactive with the same commentary, i.e without Coxey & Parish.
&...Dorna have just extended their deal with the Beeb, who already knew they had F1, so I wouldn't be surprised if the calenders are adjusted accordingly &...Moto Gp would be on interactive anyway, even if F1 was on at the same time.
Nice one for trying to stir up a .... storm though those journos.
So put your panties back on everyone.
On the contrary, Keep 'em off people.
I started a thread concerning the very real possibility of this happening back in April - most were ambivalent then....now that it's a reality it seems to have sunk in.
Yes, there is 'stroker' coverage on BBCi, but I fear that Matt Roberts and Nick Harris are responsible for the commentary which is as similarly inane and bereft of passion as '....' and Parrish. BBC coverage is for beginners - ther strategy being to lure new viewers. Wave bye bye to the technical features and in depth topics that Eurosport broach. Wave bye bye to impromptu visits to the commentary box by interesting and diverse people associated with the sport, and so long to Randy and his roving pit lane and track side reporting. Eurosport was about substance, insight, and aimed at real race fans...BBC is about commercial expansion, hence the intentional idiots approach.
Plus, you can't record qualifying on interactive as you can on sky plus, or the early morning races come to that.
I assume WSB is retained by Eurosport...do Toby and Jules replace Clive McNeil Warwick Nowland, with Jack Burnicle/Jamie Whitham solely concentrating on BSB?
