To UK'ers, Eurosport loses Motogp

I don't post here very often anymore, and I didn't see a thread on this so here:

http://www.crash.net/motorsport/motogp/new...ses_motogp.html

I'm so unhappy at this for so many reason.

1. We lose the best commentary team EVER, and I highly doubt the Beeb will chuck out Parrish, .... and Perry, who seem to know .... all about the sport, for Randy, Toby and Julian.

2. The lack of coverage: On Eurosport you got 3 whole days of EVERY practice session, from every class. I doubt the 125 and 250 will get ANY coverage, unless Redding or Smith win a race that day.

3. The fact the Beeb will have a monopoly on premier class motor sports, Moto GP AND Formula One.

That is really .... news, will the beeb show 125, 250's...l very much doubt it.

Nooo
<
<

Here we lose motogp coverage full cause eurosport is the only chanel broadcasting it here, well the national television has some of the 125cc races cause we have Robi Muresan there but the hopes for a full broadcast at least on race day is slim

That is a real shame
<
Looks like I'll be buying the motogp.com season package esp when those aholes on BBC are going to give preference to F1

eurosports coverage has been nowhere near as good as it has been in previous years imo. channel 5 did a good job before eurosport took over. i hope we will still get to see 125 and 250's. not sure clashing with F1 will be a problem, after all there are several bbc channels now. i can now cancel my virgin media package and go free sat. i only had virgin/ntl for eurosport's showing of motogp.

Dorna you utter utter wankers!!!!!

The only reason why me and my dad got Sky a couple of years ago was because we had to get away from Parrish and Cox's absolutly awful commentating. We even put it on mute when we change over when Eurosport has adverts. I'm incredibly, incredibly pissed off with this and if BBC don't change their coverage and broadcast team dramatically then there will be many companies receiving very angry letters.

Maybe Speed will pick up the broadcast over there. I hear that they want to go international.

I would download the eurosport broadcast after I watched the race on speed and re-watch it. Truely a very dissappointing thread.

Phleg where did you go man? What happened?

aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh ....!

goodbye 125/250s and any chance of insightful comments by a knowledgable ex-racer are gone.

seems like its going to be an increased intake of WSB (no bad thing at all)

What a load of fg st!!

<

Dorna are brainless twats!, they think more of their pockets than the fans
<

why get rid of the best Moto GP coverage with the best commentators and land us with some ...... BBC arsewipes
<

not only will this mean .... 800cc coverage but the possible loss of 125s and 250 coverage!, what the fk are they thinking!
<

Then if matters couldnt get any worse. . . F1 taking priority!!!
<
<
who wants to watch that boring crap!, seriously........
can anyone tell that im angry
<

Talk about being shat on from a great height!

i think i might go and stab a cushion......................................

I hate to be the bearer of good tidings but...BBC already shows 125 & 250 races on interactive &...it is the same feed with the same commentary as Motogp.com &...I believe they show the 800's on interactive with the same commentary, i.e without Coxey & Parish.

&...Dorna have just extended their deal with the Beeb, who already knew they had F1, so I wouldn't be surprised if the calenders are adjusted accordingly &...Moto Gp would be on interactive anyway, even if F1 was on at the same time.

Nice one for trying to stir up a .... storm though those journos.

So put your panties back on everyone.

They have done for a couple of years now, this year Qatar was even on BBC 3, so that is yet another option.

EDIT: Although Laguna was screwed up last year & not shown live anywhere on the beeb for some reason.
