Brat usually refers to a personality used to being spoiled, usually given special favours and used to getting a lot of attention. None of these characteristics are part of CS, who spent many years, living tough in a van, doing it the hard way.

I can think of one person to which this description fits quite well........................

He has consistently beaten Rossi over the last five years (on average) and it's looking like, barring some miracle, he will make it a sixth year.

So why does he have a long way to go? You can't expect him to compare at a time when he wasn't even riding - the only egalitarian way of comparing is when they were in the same series. And that, my friend, is a win to Stoner.

Actually there is no "egalitarian" way of comparing. Your method is comparing a youthful, rising star to an ageing, declining one... not so egal mon ami!

Yea I'm an Aussie but anyone who watched him walk to the bike on crutches then ride the way he did after having his legs sown together can't say it didn't take grit and determination it took to make it to the end of the race let alone win?

EDIT: yes my post isn't exactly relevant to the tread idea but too many beers and being near powerslide will do that to you
