THE OTHER SIDE OF ROSSI’S FAN CLUB

And I remember reading about Paul Bird Motorsport loading up theirs with 8 keys of cocaine, a ton of amphetamine and more than 220lbs (100kg) of sinesmilla – in addition to a handgun and 35 cartridges of .445 supermag. They intended to deliver it personally to people on the street.

You should about the story of Randy Lanier and the Whittington brothers in the 80s. They were engaging in wholesale drug-trafficking and funding racing endeavors via that. Crazy stuff, but then again it was the 1980s.

Wasn't alcohol smuggling how NASCAR came about? They tuned up normal cars so they could outrun police and when they were bored they raced them against each other?

Come on now Arrab, that's being intellectually lazy.

It wasn't always boring by any means, and there was a reason it was incredibly popular for 5-6 decades.

There was nothing in the slightest bit intellectual about my comment. Lazy? guilty as charged your honour. Truth is, I know absolutely nothing about NASCAR past or present so however glib, I shouldn't really have passed comment not being suitably qualified to hold an opinion.

But then, such a minor consideration never really held back Daniboy and his 1,052 post count.

That lazy post was fully worth it since you gave us this post with that last line.

I nearly choked reading that LOL.

Well done.

The drugs were for Gobert

The guns were to protect the PBM 'workers' from Gobert who was expected to try to take their wallets as well

Technically it was not accurate. He corrected you on misstating his post count prior to achieving thus said post count.

Actually everybody could be wrong here, I may have deleted some posts so the real number could be higher, and might also have been factual.

And you do? Repeatedly dissing a certain riders achievements is useful?

Absolutely I do. I am an essential component of this forum, as is Arrab, Jumkie, michaelm, Gaz, shovelhead, libby, shaunna, MotoKitty, BarryMachine, Dr No, MDub, Kesh, yamfan, 22, MickD, and the countless others I am forgetting.

Dissing?

No, it's called providing an honest assessment of certain riders' achievements. That happens to be something you've been incapable of doing.

I actually enjoy Daniboy's participation, it gives some semblance of balance to the forum, and his contributions are mostly pro-Rossi rather than the anti- every other rider stuff which has been a constant almost everywhere for the best part of 2 decades, forming the attitudes of many on here with an opposing viewpoint.

In terms of balance it is my view that this forum does provide balance in the universe, and suspect you, I and several among the others you name are not at all daunted by criticism in regard to it being the "anti-Rossi forum".
