THE CASE FOR MARQUEZ

Biaggi was also black flagged for ignoring a stop and go penalty....as oppossed to deliberately forcing a rider off the racing line and causing them to crash then subsequently being allowed to complete the race.

Go figure.

Yeah, yeah you tell em too!

You guys are ....... legends

Moto, just to continue down the alleged race fixing path.

If a rider moves out of the way for a passing rider .......... is that not the same thing as has been suggested of Marquez who (according to allegations) is actually fighting to slow riders.

See to me, both are the same and yet one one hand we have a rider being abused, threatened and harrassed for allegedly slowing a rider, but on the other we have the same critics (not saying you personally) who are lauding the fact that riders may step out of Rossi's way to make his path easier.

As such, if that were to occur should each and every rider be charged with (your version) or race fixing, and shouldn't also Rossi be charged as complicit ?

See, to me it is not race fixing

I (and I believe most others) simply want to riders to race their own race. You've never seen me suggest riders need to move out of Rossi's way. Dani gave Rossi a good race at Aragon. Iannone even raced Rossi at PI.

I thought Rossi was guilty (via brake checking), but after I had time to see all the replays I formed the opinion that Rossi only ran Marc wide.

You quoted Race Direction in a failed attempt to advance your assertion, so then what did Race Direction conclud about "Rossi only ran Marc wide"?

Remember now, it didn't matter if Rossi "meant to do it" in as much as drunk drivers don't "mean" to kill anyone.

Imagine if you could what would have happened to Lorenzo if he'd taken Rossi wide and tried to crash him out? Seriously take a moment to fathom the carnage.

Just look at what happened to Biaggi. Ended his MotoGP career.

You've got so many good points dude, and so eloquent in your delivery.

Have you ever considered being a journalist for motogp, maybe kropo will give you a job?

I had no idea that people are suspect of Iannone's bike having a busted radiator. That's news to me.
As usual you failed to understand the message. Marquez said he had a tire overheating at Phillip Island. You and your ilk have dismissed it as "suspect ".

You're not very good at debate. You're supposed to make it difficult to respond. So far you've given me debunking your statements on a platter.

Nope... it's true. Another example of race fixing: Marc's mum chucked a rock over the pit wall as the plucky young Italian was flashing past.
Why not. Marquez experiencing an overheating front tire was categorized as the same phantom rock throwing incident. A fictional rock does quite a bit of damage.

And if you as Marquez ......... he raced his race at both Phillip Island and Sepang

For me, no matter what I do not buy into the BS of treating championship contenders with kid gloves for a number of reasons (refer some of the earlier posts asking as to when a person is a contender and when the championship starts)

Now this may surprise but I will not accept that riders should be allowed to block another rider by swerving left/right and so forth ......... but that did not occur.

See the issue is this, let us be hypothetical (after all, that is all we have) but let us say that we are in the latter few laps of a race. Rossi catches Marquez who is slowing due to tyre issues.

Is Marquez allowed to race?

It is or would be for position and if the issue is legitimate (in the eyes of those accusing the recent event of not being legitimate), or must he move aside to gift positions?

Every rider wants to earn positions and in reality one would like to think that no rider should want to be gifted positions that they did not earn (but they would be idiots for not accepting)

I never would've imagined you would attempt to compare Marc claiming a tire overheating at PI with Iannone having a busted radiator at Sepang. Marc went on to set his fastest lap (and the fastest lap of the race) on the last lap with his magically cured "overheated" tire. Iannone did not go on to make any miraculous accomplishment (other than limping back to the pits) after his radiator busted.

That scenario did happen in Argentina and Marc chose to attempt to race Rossi. He made a mistake, ended up on his ..., then blamed Rossi for it.

Interesting point (and you may not want to know of it) but Bradley Smith reported earlier this year that he had an issue whereby he 'lost' his front tyre, backed off fro a round 5 or so laps and then suddenly the tyre came back.

May be fanciful but that was reported in a few places but (being fair) the first I saw of it in print was after PI and around the allegations surfacing. Not sure and have not tried to locate the actual comment at the time it was made (Krop has suggested it and reported it)

You sure that Rossi didn't impact Marc's championship by wanting to race?

See the relevance?

Yeah, yeah bro you tell em!

Which riders should get out of Lorenzo's way at Valencia? By your logic (and the perverted logic of Edwards and M.Laverty.

Should Marquez and Pedrosa race Lorenzo? How many overtakings should be allowed by Marc and Dani before they should concede the track to Lorenzo at Valencia?

Hahaha you're ...... because your logic is ....... Answer the question. You're trapped by your own perversion!

And that is EXACTLY what Marquez did at Sepang. Which you argue now is out of order.

Tire management, have you ever heard of this concept? If so, read about it. Educate yourself.

Yet still failed to make the proper conclusion.

Well as it happens, he had not refuted a single argument I had made. I would be tempted to think this was because he was unable to do so, even more so if the only reply he seemed able to make was a small technicality that he was not addressing me.

I take back my previous post btw, in the wider world where there are real consequences the "ganging up " has been very much the other way, both now and historically in regard to other riders, to one of whom Jumkie alluded. Whilst MM probably has rather more support of his own than those previous riders, it is exactly that history which prompts the vehemence of those debunking these non- arguments.

(Edited , still no good on an iPhone particularly in a restaurant and thought I was replying to moto whomever).
