Testing Predictions???

From what I have read, most might still be on 2015 bikes testing the new Michelin tires, (being a yank, just can't type tyres), but does any one have a prediction or thoughts about the first tire test?

I would hope they have improved the front tire, as that has seemed to be the problem area so far. As far as I know, everyone is using the 2015 bikes to compare the tyres and then build the '16 chassis with the data they acquire.

My prediction is that one factory is going to benefit from the tires more than the others.

It's just a question of who does.

If the Michelins are going to be less favorable to guys who are big on loading up the front, 2016 is probably going to be a battle between Dani and Lorenzo, which would be fantastic if Dani can stay healthy.

I'm going to be curious to see how many crashes we have over the next few days since that should give as an idea of where the tires are with regards to the riding styles. If MM is having trouble, then it's going to make for an interesting winter to see what Honda does with the RCV.

If Suzuki is able to get more power out of their engine, I'd like to see how they do with the Michelins. I didn't read enough about the GSX-RR this year, and don't know where their front end is at.

It's still to early to tell, but if you want to do some interesting reading you can search around here from last year. Jlo doesn't like it when the Bstone rears don't get the special edge treatment, Assen, Indy, Mugello, PI, Sachsenring, and maybe one or two more from 2014. It wasn't talked about too much this year, Yamaha may have found a solution or maybe Bstone were able to do the edge treatment to more tires. The only clue we have right now is that the Michelin fronts were still not good enough at the last test, but the rear is supposed to be excellent which should help Jlo. Yamaha also seem to be the fastest at adapting their bike to tire changes. MM could be the most screwed if they don't get the front fixed with the way he's always riding around on the front.
AE will do better next year with the better michelin rear, he's the only one that has been happy post testing so far.

If the Michelins can't load up the front like the Bridgestones, then as I;ve said before, Ducati may spring a surprise?

Testing will be on BT Sport 1 at 9am UK time today...

Does anyone know if they are testing spec ECU today as well, or just the Michelins?

Yeah I'm in work migs so can't watch the live stream, was hoping just for updates and piccy's.
