I wouldn't worry about it too much, Talpa, Rob and Nino and crew, are actually a bunch of UK schoolkids anyway, and probably more naive than most schoolkids given the type immature stuff they come out with

This is the bit I still think folk are not getting, or perhaps trivializing too much. I think it is the bit he picked up from his dirt days.
I also don't think Rossi is interpreting it correctly yet, because its no just to get more grip, but to actually lose grip when needed. Essentially the throttle is used gently once traction is broken and the lean angle of the bike adjusted ( along with body placement ) to balance the grip. But I'm not going there again cos I don't think it can be taught in words
So this technique derived from the dirt, that Valentino Rossi has yet to harness and adapt to the track; that'll be the one you've been famously bragging about on here which you routinely deploy on the road astride your 849s.
If it can't be taught in words, stop telling us about it then, and post a video of you doing it like we've been asking you to for the last year.

I think Babel was pretty upset when Rossi first rode the Ducati ....... he seems to have convinced himself so convincingly that the Ducati was a great bike and was just dragging Stoner around ( this was his ideology for 4 years
Which is kinda a shame really ......... he may have had some fruity ideas etc. ........ but he was entertaining
Edit: Either that or he actually decided to make that Gyro mapping device he was always saying was possible, then went for a ride to test it ....... and hasn't been see since, cos it just keep drifting and he is stuck in a constantly drifting loop somewhere in the middle of Europe
