Nobody really expected Stoner to be first place even in the Dunlop series (which by the way, most of the drivers have at least 10-15 more years experience behind the wheel of a race car than he does). He's grown up racing motorcycles, not racing cars. It's very different. It's a complete change in careers. If he were in the Australian V8 Superbike series and he was doing this bad, then we can talk ..... Too bad there is no Australian V8 Superbike series :(

Ha, well, against such a devastating 'NO U' I can only admit defeat. How do you come up with such funny and intelligent retorts?

Always regretted not having a chance of prison life. I blame it on being so good at

cleaning up the crime scene. The lack of evidence has kept me a free man.

Boss......yep that would be my prison title "the BIG Bossman"

Jealous eh?  - you know you want to get your grubby little hands on some of my extra DNA

So you're not a student of English comprehension, to boot.

No, no desire to interact with you any further than to tell you that. Now where's the 'shut that ...... up' button? Ahhh... there it is. Bye.

I will never turn you off or hinder you in any way from posting. No matter how strongly I disagree, no matter how flawed your statements nor no matter the level of filth and profanity you use. You have a right to post what is on your mind and I will defend that right even when I can find no value in your posts. I will never try to silence you.

There is a catch involved and that is by your words will you be known to all. What you say to one person will be read by the entire internet because even non-members can come and read. You will be judged by everyone each time you write a sentence, label someone, use profanity or launch a personal attack.

One other thing, most people can tell horse play from anger. They accept horse play and value a good joke. They usually frown on anger especially deep anger.

I came here for MotoGP and I will stay until I no longer enjoy it. Everything else here is trivial to me.

Went to V8 Supercars at Ipswich today.  Stoner was very impressive.  Started the first race of day from 17th on grid.  Finished 2nd and final race of the day in 6th.  He was clearly fast.  Made decisive clean moves to work his way forward in tricky conditions with both races started on slicks immediately following brief showers whilst on the grid.  When he had clear track he was running the pace of the leaders or better and only 0.8sec off the times of the main series front runners.

I would be surprised if Stoner is not winning races next season.

From the few races I've seen, a lot of it is just horrible luck and not knowing the tracks. Seems to always be on the charge, passing people or on somebodies ass trying to get around.

Yep, that is about right actually.

So far he has flat spotted and then blown a tyre, been involved in others accidents, been turned around by another (who was penalised) and yet, for his first year in the sport he is running very close times to the likes of Owen and Wood who have plenty of experience.

To be fair with regards to the paperclip track it was probably a very good sample of what he can do when at a track that he knows as it was the only track he had been to previously (apparently)
