You do realize that all those boppers turning off their tvs means that there is less money in motopgp and therefore stoner never earns what he could.

Doesn't worry me in the slightest, I was quite happy with gp bike racing as it was in the 80s and 90s. I suspect stoner doesn't care much either, and already has more money than he needs or wants. His problem, as with valentino, was the amount offered to jorge lorenzo.

My point on the other hand, a selfish one no doubt, is that if there is a lesser audience but one composed of fans of an authentic contest then that's fine with me. I think the sport is more at risk from the ambitions of venture capitalists and the unfettered engineering experiments of the msma than it was when it was smaller.

Nothing wrong with longing for the purity of racing. Unfortunately that stopped a long long time ago - i.e. When it started with those who had the money to do it.
Noyes thinks it was a badger. He's from the area, so probably has more local wild life knowledge. Either that or a woodchuck. He was commentating on TVE, and proceeded to explain the proper way to prepare for a collision with a deer and how to hit it. I think he mentioned it happened at a GP in Brno. Great thread by the way! Crap subject that has turned into the random acts of wildlife at the tracks.

Now I dont know about you guys but that one on the left has absolutely no personality, its a major turn off for me. Ruins the whole damn picture. Oh sure there might be some amazing physical attributes on her but its still a turn off, ruins the whole sport of bird watching IMO.
I got the one on the right!! That is Adriana Lima, who cares about her personality!
Stoner is a talent regardless of his personality. He is someone who brings in the result time and time again. There are rule makers who ruin the sport cause they think they know better but at least we can watch Stoner ..... about it.

I'm not concerned with Stoner's pay....I'm certain it's sufficient for his needs. A large number of the Bop's will be moving on to another form of sport in the coming years, of this we can be certain. If MotoGP suffers temporarily, I can live with that. I have plenty of other interests and I'll continue to watch motorcycle racing in whatever form it takes...
