If those words were taken from when I think they were, I was at those debriefs when Hayden spoke, and he said "it's a shame", not "it's shameful". If those quotes came from a later one-on-one interview, then I can't verify them.



I'm prepared to think it's bad translation English (well, Kentucky) -> Italian -> English. Hayden is genuinely the nicest guy in the paddock, and is always very diplomatic. He'd phrase things very differently.

Dead right, it was just so obvious it was not Nicky's words. Hayden is the total nice guy and has been one of the Casey's staunchest allies in motogp, even when on Honda Hayden often praised Stoner. A trait which I suspect did not go unnoticed when Ducati was looking for a rider to partner Casey after Melandri left.



Also the idea that Casey leaving Ducati is shameful is beyond comprehension, even for the Boppers to have said that would have been perhaps the GOAT pieces of stupidity. Hence obvious a crazy translation. As a person who worked for many years win a test lab, I often received "manuals" with translation "irregularities/hilarities" akin to this "shameful" episode. Manuals were a constant source of entertainment amongst the nerds over the lunch table





And again Hayden proves what a decent bloke he is by having it corrected in the media ..... you can't help but like the guy.

yep the bets on mate...and we will see in 2011 season...its more like the other way around Stoner is going to whoop Pedro's .....hehee..Pedro's going well and I like him but Stoners a class act and on the same bikes my money is on Stoner every time! that honda is stoners kinda bike that thing is got balls and its gotta be ridden hard..u will see the honda perform miracles in 2011 things that they couldnt imagine that the honda could or can do when Stoner kicks its ......hehee

I hope Stoner whips Pedro but imho Honda's #1 rider will still be Pedro.. IF he continues this year well and IF he keeps it up..

Twill be interestin' - for sure. But while Pedro is small and fast and has the advantage of being with Honda for a long time

- we've never seen him really battle it out (the last race not withstanding) and Stoner does have that capacity. Should make

for an interesting year in the Honda garage.
