I was trying to steer the ....... initial post into a metanarrative on why the 800's don't have the excitement of the 990's, but I capitulate and accept with no malice my castigation.

I would hate to be a fish because taking the bait is something I do all too often

On a side note - I know all you northern hemisphere guys are having a winter break BUT it is summer break here, the surf is good, the golf courses are green and the beer fridge has been turned down just a little more despite the increased carbon footprint (tic). I am however willing to give up all that golf surf and beer to make the season start again...

Oh and its hardly Caseys fault the ridiculous rule changes have caused the racing to be soo boring.Also 2006 was such an awesome season that it would always be a tough act to follow
