*SPOILERS* Jerez Rd3 Race Discussion

A very nice and solid win by Rossi, by overtaking his 3 direct championship contenders.

Pedrossa was the 2nd best, and did a good job. He has the same amount of points with Lorenzo.

A nice result by Casey with taking his first podium in Jerez.

Also a very good result by Randy de playboy. with having in mind that he hasn't crashed for 3

races in a row now.

a very exiting fight and results by Melandry and Capirossi.

Dovi came back good from 15 or 16th place. He did a good damage control, and he is now at

5th place of the championship table with just 11 points behind Lorenzo and Pedrobat.

Hayden could run a full race at last, but it looks as if it will only get worser and worser, like it did

for Melandry and Capirossi.Ducati should do something about it, this is clearly not a rider

problem.

Gibernou hasnt finished in top 10 yet, but he was the 2nd best DUC out there today.

Lorenzo fcukced it badly, he had to play the damage control and come in 4th place, but i think

he didn't want to lose the last podium place in front of his home crowd. Thogh .... happens.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Fred00 @ May 3 2009, 08:25 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>My thoughts:

This championship will be about Rossi and Stoner in the end. Lorenzo is quick, but I think he lacks the consistency that Rossi has. Pedrosa is a talented rider, but when Rossi is closing in on him you just know that it's over. Therefore I don't think Pedrosa has what it takes over the course of a full season. Stoner has better consistency than Lorenzo and a lot more fight than Pedrosa.

Good thinking +1

I thought the weekend was ...., Rossi is finished and a brit will never win a 125 gp. I also like to dress as a girl and go to Hong Kong websites to work on my forearm strength.

Oh ...., sorry, I thought I was someone else there, great weekend, Rossi was awesome, Bradley was amazing, and the forum troll is crying into a jazz mag as we speak.

Lorenzo should have watched the road instead of Stoner and he might not have fell. He almost lost it in the previous corner...oh well there goes all those points down the drain. Rossi took it in style and Pedrosa was ahead of where I thought he would be. Tough little guy and I'm starting to like him. Stoner in only 9 points down so job well done considering. What can I say about Melandri that hasn't been said? All the guys that were pissed that Hopper got passed over raise your hands. Hopper is again recovering from the knife and Melandri is beating both factory Suzuki's a factory Honda and factory Ducati on the lone privateer Kawi. Is CV now suffereing from Kjr syndrome? Lap around because you are pissed you don't have the perfect ride? Spies would have been 4th. Oh well...

Solid results from Melandri so far, Kawak should be regretting withdrawing. More than anything they would have dreamed about.

doubt u can judge by what hayden does, he more often than not came outside the top 5 than did he came in the top 5 in a champtionship winning potential bike in 08

WEll done Vale. Another boring race YEEE HAAA!!! SUcks for Hayden but I think he must of still been hurting after the token crashanese did his worst. I would hope that with the championship points being so close now the season will provide us with some neat surprises. I have to say that Casey is one hell of a rider to make that DUC work like it does.

First of all "worser" is not a word. Hayden is bustin his but for a hurt dude on a bike that requires some set up right now. He really hasn't had much of a chance this season just yet. I think you will see him improve but he needs to be able to do it without feeling like a token crashanese had rammed him up the backside. I am glad to see Marco Melandri do well again. I think we will see him on a new team next year unless Kawi decides to move back to GP. Hell of a job ya gotta hand it to him.

Lol i hate that stuff.. always happens to me for World Supersport when all I got to watch was the Superbike races.. sluts.

Anyway, this race was pretty meh. Can't be mad at it, good for rossi/pedrosa/stoner.. and rdp/melandri, but more or less meh. you can't have a laguna seca 08 every race though or those wouldn't be remembered.. oh wait wsbk/wss and 250cc have em all the time.. hmm.

heh.. all in all i got my motogp fix, and the 250cc was great

wow what a race at jerez
rossi very fast
rossi vs pedrosa = 3 sec.. lead
rossi vs stoner = 10 sec ..lead
after behind for 4 grid and try to catch 2-3 sec behind and lead with 3 sec THAT WAS A REALLY GREAT RACE....

too bad lorenzo down if not he will catch up stoner and no ducati on podium but double yamaha again on podium ....
anyway good to see stoner and ducati on podium jerez after (no way ducati can win on this track)

if if if. fact was horhey did catch up to stoner, but then stoner pushed harder and held his 1 second lead for 3 laps, in which then forced horhey to push harder when he crashed. so casey upping his pace caused horhey to crash

Even the commentators said that was the case.

Pinky, your hayden obsession has gone beyond the point of being irritating to the point of being stupefyingly boring.

well when people stop putting hayden on a pedestal then maybe we can move on.

firing the whole crew is the most ridiculous thing i ever heard
