Yeah he lost some of finger when he broke his leg in the big crash............Eurosport mentioned it yesterday and said it happen when the bars locked his hand against the bike........

OUCH!!!

"Apparently I also have a broken collarbone but it doesn’t feel like it to me. Oh and I will lose a part of one of my fingers but as I keep telling people, I broke that one before and it wasn’t much use to me anyway!”"

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BEN @ Mar 9 2007, 01:02 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Hell yeah the new qualifing rules rock!!! How exciting was that!! Proper last lap show downs
<

Cant wait for the race tomorrow, looks like a battle between Rossi, Edwards and Stoner............I dont think Nick is gonna feature in this race, no race pace.

Bring it onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
Ow yeah, BRING IT ON!!!!!!!
<

Was a great quali, last minutes were exciting indeed!!
Stoner did a great job for sure, but it wasn't a real surprise to me. I already had a feeling he would make it into the top 3.
I'm just curious about the start of the race. I hope to see some battles between Casey and Vale. Whatever will happen..I know it's gonna be one hell of a race!!
<

I'm also really curious about what Nicky will do tomorrow. Would be nice if he made it to the front. Time will tell..

I'm soooooooo excited. Tomorrow's the BIG DAY!!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (frosty58 @ Mar 9 2007, 12:19 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>he lost his finger in a test last yeai think.

Same time as he busted his leg I think ?
<

This is it guys - the waiting is over
<

aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I have to breathe. I have to breathe! I'm sooooooooooooooo excited. Rossi on pole! Woohoo!

Well qualy was pretty exciting though I'm quite sad Hondas suck so much.
<

Rossi seems to have this one under control
<

Edwards and Stoner seem to be the closest in terms of race pace.

My hat off to Yamaha and Edwards. Look like they got it right this time. A bike that is much easier to set up right. The combination of new frame and 16" front seems to make it easy to get a good front feel. That was i huge issue last year. I think that what we see is a reborn edwards with confidence and his words might very well come through, ie Yamaha 1st and 2nd at the end of the year.
The rest of the list was about as expected, but with the repsol hondas a couple of spots lower than expected. They still have a lot to work to do if any of them are going to be a factor tomorrow. Pedrosas race pace did not justify a fith, so that came down to a grate effort on the last lap only. Same goes for Nicky alltogh he ended down on 9th.

Now I'm off to the anual motorcycle show :)

...i got up at 4am!..saw the 125 Q, and that was clear as a bell....
10 minutes into the GP Q, it went to .... at 400Kps!...for a while it worked on the 200kps screen, but that lasted about 10 minutes...that was all she wrote..never loaded again..i'm sooo F'ing pissed right now.
<

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>Today didn’t exactly go to plan for Ilmor GP as the first official qualifying session of the 2007 MotoGP World Championship got underway at the Losail International Circuit in Qatar. After making some positive developments during the two free practice sessions yesterday hopes were running high for the qualifying session today however the team suffered a series of minor issues and then unfortunately Jeremy McWilliams took a tumble on his final lap during the hour long timed session. Luckily the Northern Irishman is made of strong stuff and managed to escape the spectacular off with what appears at the moment to be nothing more than severe bruising. There was initial concern that he had broken his left femur after he fractured it during the pre-season test back in November last year- the team’s initial fears were put to bed when he made his exit from the circuit ambulance on two, albeit wobbly, feet and fiercely refusing the kind offer of a wheelchair

It looks like Rossi, Edwards, Stoner and possibly Pedrosa to battle it out for the podium places.

Nicky looks to be in serious trouble already.

This just keeps getting better and better. Those Ducs are fast as hell in a straight line! And check out Hopper throwing down after his accident. Speaking of, is there really any reason for Jeremy McWilliams to be racing? I am seriously afraid he's going to kill himself if he doesn't retire. He high-sided again and reinjured his unhealed leg. He's 42, in horrible shape, on the worst bike, trying to recover from his previous accident where he lost some fingers and still crashing while riding over 4 seconds slower than pole. I think Dorna should step in a force a retirement....

sure does...

Just dawned on me...Toni Elias 4th.... leader of the 2nd row....right behind Rossi..
<

that little .... better hold his line in the first corner!..not like last years 1st race.
<

I'm so excited for Colin, he's like the Raikkonen of Formula 1 in a way - he's a very good rider but he's just not been able to really perform and become champion in the top class. Hopefully this will be his year (behind Rossi of course), as well as Raikkonen's in Formula 1!
