Pedrosa going slower?
Any thoughts on why Pedrosa is 1.5 sec slower than his Feb test times?

Free Practise time: Dani Pedrosa SPA Repsol Honda Team (M) 1min 56.990 secs
Qatar test (Feb 16): Dani Pedrosa SPA Repsol Honda Team (M) 1min 55.471secs

http://www.crash.net/news_view~cid~6~id~144193.htm

Is the Repsol Honda team sandbaging their free practice so as to surprise the competition during qualifying?

I’m not sure, but I think they haven’t used Q-tyres just yet in today FP sessions, and back at the test they must have!

Somebody please expain what happened to Colin Edwards in the offseason??? Is it just the 800cc bike thats giving him some new edge? I don't get it.

Then again he did win the BMW last year and proceeded to suck all season (in general).

The new 16 inch front michelin has given him the grip, feel and confidence to ride quick all the time.

FP3 practice topic merged with this one!

FYI - we group all the threads togther at race weekend as otherwise we get a load of threads all talking about the same thing

You gotta be chuffed with CE's performance to date in the run up to Qatar......would be nice to see him riding at the front (as long as he doesnt do "an Assen")

Qual starts at 11amGMT on Eurosport.........another break from work

It doesn't appear to me that the small ones (Dani, Loris, Marco) are controlling the game. The big ones are still up front. Talking about weight advantage heh.

Rossi on Pole with a 55.002, Stoner 55.007, Edwards 55.233

Looks like a good podium!

Hayden in 9th 56.041

Hell yeah the new qualifing rules rock!!! How exciting was that!! Proper last lap show downs
<

Cant wait for the race tomorrow, looks like a battle between Rossi, Edwards and Stoner............I dont think Nick is gonna feature in this race, no race pace.

Any news on McWilliams? Looks like he took a bad one.

Bring it onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Not a bad time by the top 3! Stoner suprised me.... maybe not! he got pole last year soo........ going to be a cracker!

250cc's are even going to be better! I really thought West may have a shot but i dont think he has it anymore.

The Duc's and the small guys fly on the straight compared to everyone else.

Numbers dont lie! yeh lets wait for race day lol

Edge of the seat stuff, Stoner really impressed me. Looks like Repsol Honda are in big trouble on race tyres. I'm so glad the winter is finally over.
