So Lorenzo is ....?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (michaelm @ Jul 15 2008, 04:53 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>I actually agree with pinky that being given a factory bike and being on the factory team are not necessarily the same.

I wouldn't say it is particularly significant as the the "official" Aprilia team weren't first Aprilia in the world championship in 04 or 05, nor are they top Aprilia now. A factory bike is a factory bike and Casey's rode them in all but his rookie season (2002) before he entered motogp.

Also, Troy enjoys eating pasta when finishing in places three through six at rounds occurring outside EU countries. Also, Bayliss once dressed for Everton as Tim Cahill and is the only man to have won a BSB championship, WSB championship, MotoGP race and to score a Premiership goal. Troy Bayliss once ate six hot dogs in a post race press conference, the other podium finishers did not eat any hot dogs.

Tim isn't starting the EPL season due to an "injury" ... maybe a 3rd WSBK title is more important!

I bet if you put TB in the midfield for Everton and put Cahill on the 1098 the results would be the same as they are now.

WTF!? Lorenzo rocks! Lorenzo is the .... if that's what you mean. He rides as hard and as well as anyone.

Falling off these bikes take its toll on your body for sure.

Lorenzo knows how to ride a motogp fast, hes proved it... but he hadn't fallen off so much at that stage.

Its a learning experience.

Slow down there skippy. Whorehay has much to proove. He has done some good things he just needs to really get a grip of how the whole thing comes together cause at the moment he is not the .... he is ..... He will be good though especially when he gets his own idenity instead of being a Rossi clone wannabe. And get rid of that ...... lollie pop cause that makes him look real gay.

I don't know man, I think he is probably the ..... There wasn't anyone faster in the early portion of the season and now has a bit of injury/confidence problem. And what's wrong with the lollie? It's a gimmick and a bit clever if you ask me.

That system got one, perhaps two races. I wonder how much Honda spent developing that exhaust only for it to be scrapped. That's a funny thought.

Has anyone been able to find pictures of this exhaust? I just searched google for 10 minutes and came up empty handed.

Jumkie carved you up, and now you are best of mates, because you have some sort of vague military connection. I want to vomit in my weetbix!!

Seriously though, Horghey is the real deal. His only mistake was not to rest after the original injury and then he compounded all his problems and made himself look worse than he really is. Next year he is a serious title contender, and I suspect he will outperform Pedrobot when fit again.

Next year will be very interesting, because Lorenzo will stop all this "here to learn" crap and want the title, and you have to believe Dovi will have similar ideas if he is factory HRC. If Hayden goes to Ducati as predicted there will be 6 guys who think they can win the world title and some of them will definitely be disappointed. It could even be one of the established team riders.

i would guess that 5 of the 6 riders WILL be disappointed...
